Stepping into this establishment, it becomes quickly apparent how it earned its seedy reputation. Apart from the copious mugs of ale covering the sticky tabletops and shadowy figures with fistfuls of playing cards, a crack splits the air. You turn your head, thinking to find a broken chair, or a shattered bottle of wine, but instead the sound seems to have issued from the skull of some poor lout being dragged out of the ring, slumped and unconscious. You’ve heard of tavern brawls before, but this appears to be the only one specifically designed for such a purpose…

Many of you know already of my fondness for 2minutetabletop and his gorgeous selection of maps. Awhile back, he posted the Typical Tavern map and I loved the style so much that I spent a few hours working on brushes and things to make a map inspired by it. So, this is the result. I hope you find a nice use for it in your tavern brawls!
