We tend to define our accomplishments with 'failure' or 'success.' This is very damaging to the psyche, because 'failure' is completely normal even for the most successful people and we tend to forget that. Instead feelings of failure can lead to depression and giving up. Failure is a stepping stone to success, so instead of focusing on 'being the best', just do your best every day and enjoying the process! Be kind to yourself like you would be to a friend! :)
