Or…was he apologizing because Anthony wanted something else? Was Divus not doing well at this after all? Was he really no good? Did Anthony not feel good? Did he want a change of pace, had he noticed—

Unable to bear that odd gentle affection in Anthony offered much longer—what? Did the man pity him now?—Divus’s bleary vision turned from him and focused on the leash in hand…and his eyes widened seeing the trembling fist it lay curled in.

Wait—had he pulled it just then?

Anthony stopping, his apologies—ah, he must have, back when he’d fallen before! But then that meant…

“Ah…“ Anthony had noticed.

A soft chuckle left him as he pulled away, lowering himself until he was nestled securely, pressed back against the sheets below.

There was no denying such a position was still mortifying enough to twinge at his pride. But no matter, he would happily bear with it for now. Throwing a defiant little smirk back at Anthony over his shoulder as he ground on him again,

“You can, mmnh, keep going…and don’t you dare think about holding back on me now. Do you understand?”

With this leash in hand, and Anthony wrapped around his finger as always…surely he could handle a little more roughhousing now, hm?
