‼️Engenes, This is a guide on HOW TO STREAM ENHYPEN ON SPOTIFY, YOUTUBE AND OTHER MUSIC PLATAFORMS!! Please Spread so people that are new to streaming can see this as well! Since it's a lot (believe i know) take your time, if you have any questions you can ask and I'll answer.
‼️ The focus of this post is Spotify and YouTube, if you use other music platforms, don't worry, there's a little guide for Apple Music, Deezer and others. The reason why I'm focusing on those two it's because MV views and streams on Spotify counts as points for awards shows (such as MAMA and others) and billboard.
‼️ Use this guide to stream We'll Be Fine on the 29 on june, this will be our practice for the actual comeback
1. Spotify Premium vs Free
➡️ If possible, use Premium for the comeback - you can check for a Free Trial. If you have used a Free Trial before - you will need a new account, with new login information and a new form of payment.
🔵 plays songs in order, allows downloads and unlimited skips, it has no ads, and weighs more for the charts!!
🔵 There is Streaming teams & individuals who are giving premium accounts - please contact the Fanbases so they can help retweet and spread if you are still offering Premium accounts for ENGENES.
🟢 You can use Free Spotify to stream, but it has some streaming limitations:
➡️It has ads, you can’t use it offline, you can only skip a couple of songs per day!
➡️The Free Mobile version nowadays shuffles your playlists in a way where it actually avoids repeating songs, so it ruins the point of the Focused Playlists.
‼️The best way to use Spotify Free would be with the Desktop App - because it plays the songs of a playlist in order - so you can take full advantage of the Focused Playlists that help with Title Track streaming.
✅ If Spotify Free on Mobile is your only option - that is still ok - your streams will still count but they will be more spread out on the discography and lesson the focused song!
TO DO'S
✅ Turn off autoplay and shuffle: settings >
✅ Make sure you device volume is with 50% or higher volume
✅ Listen to THE WHOLE SONG/ALBUM FIRST, then you can use a streaming playlist
✅ Like all the songs in the album and add as much as you can to your playlists
✅ Engage naturally: occasional pausing, skipping, adding to playlist, listen to other artists, liking tracks helps avoid bot-like behavior.
✅ Switch between streaming from a Focused playlist, Streaming the Full album, and playing The Title Track from Curated Playlists
➡️ Curated Playlists are the Official Spotify playlists. (K-Pop ON!, New Music Friday, etc)
➡️ If you haven't yet, please do the pre-save of We'll Be Fine and The Sin Bliss, Spotify will understand the pre-saves as interest and will put the songs on more playlists > more playlists = more streams from casual listeners.
✅ Before click in a stream playlists make sure they follow the right rules (The rules are in the image at the bottom, I'll be sharing playlists made by @EN_onSpotify bc they always follow those rules)
‼️ REMEMBER: STREAM DOESN'T END ON THE FIRST DAY, CONSISTENCY AND LONGEVITY IS NEEDED
DON'T DO'S
❌ Don’t loop songs or playlists!!
❌ Don’t use VPNs, APKs, or anything that hides your IP!!
❌ Playing the song below 50% volume or muted
❌ Don't use 24h playlists, the recommended is 2-4 hours, the maximum is a 8-9h playlist more than that it's not recommend.
❌ When the playlists comes to an end DO NOT REPEAT IT, use the playlist once a day alternating between other playlists, approved by the fanbases, or other artists (preferably non-kpop artists)
➡️ Example on how to do it properly: Stream the album > Playlist 1 focused on Title Track > Pause, give yourself a break of 10-20 minutes so Spotify doesn't see it as bot behavior > Playlists 2 focused on Promoted B-side > Play only the enhypen song in a curated playlist > repeat
This is how a focused playlist looks like, when we'll be fine and the comeback comes out I'll share some playlists here
2. STREAMING ON YOUTUBE
➡️ If possible, use Premium for the comeback to help with charts and filter streams
TO DO'S
✅ Long into your youtube account, if you're not logged the stream won't be counted
✅Search for the song manually
✅ Settings:
➡️ video quality to 480p or higher,
➡️ Make sure you device volume is with 50% or higher volume,
➡️ Watch the whole mv in normal spend and without pausing
✅ Turn off autoplay
✅ Engage naturally: like the video and leave a nice comment (avoid copy pasting the same comment and using emojis!!)
✅Use 3-4 videos fillers in between your focused video, they must have between 2-4 minutes each so nothing of short content
➡️ Switch between the mv and enhypen content such as members covers, old mvs, fancans, vlogs, and variety shows videos.
➡️ It's highly recommend to use videos from different channels as fillers so try this: stream the mv of we'll be fine on hybe channel > stream a members cover on enhypen channel > stream a performance video > random content> go back to we'll be fine mv
➡️ DON'T REPEAT THE SAME FILLER CONTENT, example if you already watched a members cover as a filler once, then use a different cover by other member as a filler.
✅ Manual streaming is recommended but if you can't:
➡️ Set up a queue (we'll be fine mv > 3-4 fillers > we'll be fine mv)
✅ Take breaks. Not only for your own healthy but because no one watches YouTube 24/7, and YouTube knows that. If possible, alternate between accounts or make streams in another music plataforms.
DON'T DO'S
❌ Using playlist in the first 24h
❌ Mutting and looping the video, the same goes to Forwarding, pausing and rewinding the video
❌ Don’t use VPNs, APKs, or anything that hides your IP!!
❌ Using multiple windows or tabs
❌ Clearing YouTube history
3. STREAM ON APPLE MUSIC, AMAZON MUSIC, PANDORA, SHAZAM
