You only gain confidence by proving things to yourself.
Hello lovely 🫶🏾 can I ask what your business is and what skills you want to learn and what is your major?
Hi angel, thank you so much for your ask!!
On business: I'm currently running an online journal/workbook business (the one I'm always talking about lol) and my sister and I are aiming to start a magazine together. It's been pushed back a bit because I needed to get used to the university schedule, but we should be back to working on it soon (I hope...)
On learning skills: I've been trying to learn about sales and marketing, graphic design and public speaking amongst others!!
On my major: I'm currently in my first year of my BCom degree and I'll be specializing in Strategic Management

(Thank you once again for your ask, sending tons of love to you)

Glowing, Gorgeous and Graceful - My Plans for a Mini Glow-Up Before Second Semester Starts
FOREWORD
Second semester is starting in two weeks, and I need to prepare myself to interact with more people, ask intelligent questions, continue to increase my grades (praying my grades don't go under 95%) and really give off the vibe that I want to invoke (in all aspects).
Feel free to use this as a guide or an inspiration for a mini glow-up!
THE GOALS LIST (I've been working on most of these for the past two weeks)
General body goals: Toned, strong and flexible
Slim face, defined jawline, good skin
Better styling (work with the same clothes but make them exciting)
Good posture and better walking posture
Speak and carry myself with casual elegance (like a chic French and Italian woman)
Increase knowledge in at least 1 personal interest/study (I've chosen Astronomy, Japanese and Economics)
Make extra money from skills + business
THE ACTIONS LIST (All the actions needed to make these goals happen)
Keep with my current exercise schedule (consistency is key!) but also incorporate some sort of cardio in.
Face workouts, Gua Sha (except, I'll be using my hands), AM and PM skincare, tons of water, turmeric and pepper shots every morning.
Look on Pinterest for inspiration, go through closet and piece clothes together, don't be afraid to try something new.
Posture exercises, practicing walking properly (not just running everywhere, but actually taking my time).
Look for inspiration, watch TED talks on communication, watch old iconic and niche films, read books (even if it's satire) on this. Embody it, live it, but also bring my own flare to it.
Dedicate a few hours a day to studying these topics, create a Notion homepage to track learnings, get a journal to track learnings as well.
Get a job around skills and learn better ways to promote business to customers (learn sales and marketing skills).
THE VIBE I'M TRYING TO EXUDE (Body, face, style, presence)
And that's it! I'll keep everyone updated as I work through these goals - with the tag #Glowing Gorgeous Graceful :)
Let's become more beautiful together! X's and O's, Elle.
I've been trying to implement really good habits, and here's how it's going so far! You can tell when it's a weekend lol
Here's to another week of productivity and rest!

From failing to becoming an academic weapon: My story
(Sneak peak of what's going to be in the academic weapon guide!)
I was taken out of school after finishing 4th grade, due to my parents financial problems. From 5th grade until the start of 7th, I was homeschooled - but not in the conventional way, so essentially it was a free holiday, lasting two years.
In 7th grade, I got enrolled in an online school, where I got to know for the first time a lot of subjects. The only issue is that, with me being taken out of school, I did not know how to manage the sudden workload that came with it. However, I pushed that under the rug and still managed to do pretty well - my average at that time must have been around 70%.
The real problems began in 8th grade.
Raise your hands up higher, forge your path with fire. Reach for the sun.

consistency is less "putting in 100% every day" and more so putting in 10%, 25%, 80% over and over again. That's how you'll get results and reach your goals.
Come as you are, there's enough space for all forms of progress.

Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford, Uriage Bariérderm cream, 100 percent cotton dresses collection, flat shoes, gold teardrop earrings, thick and tan body, Mediterranean lifestyle, dark brown hair and eyes, large bags that close up completely.
My vibes this summer!! Heavy on the large bags that close up completely (my bags fail to close almost all the time)
To create a truly beautiful life, you need to say yes.
What does that mean?
When we talk to people that are full of interesting stories, a common denominator is that they chose to say yes. Whether the yes led to a good solution or a heartbreaking one, you'll never truly know what stands behind the door -- unless you knock.
On top of that, you need to say yes to your own choices, not what people around you say you should do, or even what makes the most money. Your choice might be great, it also might not be so great, but no matter what, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you did what you wanted to do.
In my case, my whole life, I've loved fashion and business. I used to design collections, think about interesting ways to design clothes, run small businesses and figure out what works or what doesn't work.
But, I was also really good with computers and the digital world. Throughout school, my parents encouraged me to enter into the tech world, and for a little while, I believed that that was what I needed to do.
Yet, I still couldn't get rid of the feeling that I was meant for something else. So, I changed my subjects (in my country, the subjects you pick decide whether you can get into a certain major or not) to subjects that looked at fashion and business. It shocked my parents at first, but looking back, that was the wisest decision I made.
I am currently in my second semester of my BCom degree (it's about to start in a few days) and I am still so glad I did not choose another degree. Sure, it's not easy, but it is what I relate to most and I know that I'm where I need to be.
So take the chance and say yes -- to yourself and to the choices that present themselves to you.

Reminder: If you happen to feel a little bit stagnant, try cleaning your space (physical and digital), drinking water, eating something comforting and journaling.

Set the intention and then detach as you do the work
To me, this is one of the factors that decide whether I get what I want or not.
It's more than an idea of just hoping and believing that things will come to you while doing nothing or working crazy, obsessing over something to get it. It's about knowing the perfect balance.
Let me give you an example: Last week, I was trying to get more money so I could go out with my friends without asking my parents for money. I knew the outing was happening for two weeks so I was working hard, selling all sorts of things, doing so many applications for small jobs, but nothing happened.
But, I realized I was obsessing instead of detaching, so on Wednesday, I prayed to God and surrendered and told Him that if I was meant to go, then He'll be the one to provide for me, however, if not, then I'll accept it. I detached and stopped thinking about it altogether, switching my focus to building my brand, and the very next day, I sold some notes that I had made for an exam!
Nevertheless, that money wasn't enough and wasn't going to be transferred the very next day. Randomly, I mentioned the outing to my parents during a conversation and they sent the money and even adding more so that I could buy something for myself as well.
This is a perfect example of what I'm saying as I didn't just sit back after detaching, I went to go build my brand, but I let go of obsessing and what I wanted came to me.
If a simple situation like this was solved, how much more a bigger one?
Let go of the outcome, but continue walking anyways. What's yours will come straight to you.

Friendly reminder that sometimes things feel difficult or out of reach not because they are, but because they’re outside the realm of what we’ve seen, experienced, learned or believed possible. Often it’s just our brain creating obstacles to protect us from the unknown. But once we take the first step and actually do it, we wonder why we waited so long
Don’t let unfamiliarity disguise itself as impossibility
