This year I dressed as a pumpkin for the local comm's Halloween meet

Jsk, bow: angelic pretty

Blouse: Anna house

Otk: dandy puppeteer

Shoes: metamorphose

Wrist cuffs: Bodyline (I added pumpkin details)

Necklace, hat: handmade (by me)

Bag: milk

Brooch: erstwilder

Yeah the wig was kinda bad, and the shoes were a choice (though I kinda liked them)

But all things considered it was a pretty decent coordinate from someone who I imagine isn’t in the know about this fashion

She’s Mariah carey, and she loves her glam high contoured makeup too, which may not “fit” Lolita but it’s part of her brand

The unfortunately overly-shiny look just comes from the lighting

And Mariah just happens to have a curvier build, that’s kinda it

I think another thing that unfortunately contributes to the more “off” aspects of the look is that Mariah happens to be taller

The skirt she has one falls around the knee for Misako Aoki who modeled it a while ago (she’s 5’2”)

Mariah is 5’9” so that’s 7 inches taller so the skirt would be much higher than likely is intended

That and she might be higher waisted as well so her chest would also be more emphasized
