Dissect and Consume

"Oh? I believe it's the most logical way. After all, when they die, they get buried anyway. Why let a good body rot in a box when you could easily turn it to mulch for the tree?"

       { ❦❋} ➤ “—Excuse me?”

"Can you imagine how eco-friendly that would be?"

                     She can’t help but roll her eyes at the act, a small smile forming. Tiæn really wasn’t sure what they were — definitely not friends, but what? 

A playful laugh exude from him, one that was almost force out of his chest. He rubs the back of his neck and still play the smile on his face. "Is that so? Is that so?" He teases, "Perhaps there is, perhaps there isn't." She may be right. Perhaps, their relationship, not a friend nor enemy, doesn't have an exact definition. He cranes his back, rolling from one shoulder to the other and peer down at her with one eye open.  "Tell me, my little reptilian friend, do you see me more as a friend or foe?"

He steps back and places a hand over his chest, clutching the fabric of the scrub. "I'm hurt," he said rather dramatically, "and here I thought we were more than acquaintances? Then if not friends, then how do you see us as?"
