Why I love sparxshipping? (10 reasons)
1) First meeting
I already mentioned this in another post. Just magic and a heart attack, the best first meeting ever.
2) A connection of the Dragon Flame
Bloom could sense when Valtor was around or if he was still alive. In the penultimate episode, she was able to target Valtor with her attack, and in ep 18 she avoided his attack.
3) Character and appearance
What can I say/write? Bloom is beautiful and cute, Valtor is very handsome. Their characters perfectly complement each other. It's difficult to meet two people who are so different and at the same time similar. They are one and the same, but they stand on opposite sides. Bloom represents good, Valtor — evil. They are stubborn, incessant, super powerful.
4) Valtor saved Bloom ...
Is this the first such case in the history of all the cartoons that the villain helps the main character not to die, because of his own will? I don't know, but oh, my heart beat every time faster, when I think that if Valtor wasn't there, Bloom could have drowned! And then he touched her hair gently.
It's a pity that he never heard "thank you", but as we know they became enemies.
5) ... then to take everything away from her
Destruction of Andros, help Cassandra and Chimera, Layla's blinding, enchantment of Sky and his proposal for Diaspro, disappearance of Tecna ... It all led to the collapse of Bloom and her friends. I think, he wanted to divide them deep inside to make Club Winx fall apart and he almost succeeded. This precision in destroying girls' lives was extraordinary. Actually, he didn't just hurt only Musa and Flora, but he knocked them down with one spell in ep 14, and then he temporarily stopped them.
6) Lies and charisma
Valtor, as a purely evil creature (ok, half fire and half darkness), tended to lie and manipulate. He didn't hesitate to cheat, some of his words like the imprisonment of Bloom's biological parents in Valtor's body were absurd, but he spoke so convincingly, in detail, that he could continue to cheat Bloom and play with her feelings.
I think a lot of us would succumb to his beliefs.
7) Causing emotions at Bloom
Crying about the aforementioned lies and trying to destroy life was something new for Bloom. Until now, someone played with her trust (the fake Avalon, Trix lied her she was a witch), but Valtor jumped to a new level. It was all she believed in, that is, family. Nightmares and aggression came out only when Valtor appeared in her life, she could not function because of him. Thanks to this, we could see her flaws - unrestrained anger and desire for revenge.
8) "Join me"
Valtor twice asked Bloom not to be his enemy. He often treated her as weaker, before she got Enchantix he was right, but undermining her skills was lost somewhere, because I saw these suggestions of being on one side. Valtor truly respected her.
9) Watching the enemy
Of course, Valtor was peeping over Bloom to know her, her weaknesses. But did you notice how focused he was?
10) Others know it
One thing is very intriguing.
In 24 ep, Valtor gets frustrated, because Winx find and disenchant the Cloud Tower.Â
I don't know about the others, but in the English version Icy jokes: "you two are inseparable".Â
In my language version (Polish ZigZap) she says "(maybe) you can't live without her".
I know, she teased him, but Icy's feelings for Valtor were burning out back then, and there was a reason the Trix had been jealous of Bloom before, as he was giving Bloom the most attention.
