Round 2 - Kidneys VS Cochlea
The KIDNEYS are a pair of organs located within the lower abdomen. They are part of the excretory system, responsible for filtering waste products from the blood and regulating bodily hydration.
Kidney Propaganda:
"They look like beans and i wanna eat them"
The COCHLEA is a snail-shaped organ present in the inner ear. Filled with fluid and lined with cilia (tiny hairs), vibrations are passed to it via the ossicles. These are sent to the brain, which interprets them as sound.
Cochlea Propaganda:
"Hehe snail"
What do you think?

imagine a 21-round poll tournament for every unicode codepoint. not just the ones that are assigned, the whole thing. all 2^21 of them.
by my math this would take about 46 years, if you're posting 250 polls per day. definitely more of a human timescale than I'd expect for something like this!
you could do a little better by skipping the codepoints outside the valid range of planes, reducing the number of contestants from 2^21 to just 17*2^16, but that would make the tournament structure less mathematically elegant

Supreme Court Bracket Finale!
Remember that this is a silly Tumblr poll, and these two things are not actually in conflict. So don't get too heated in the notes.
Which do you Rule With?
School Desegregation
Gay Sex
Show results
School Desegregation. State laws establishing separate public schools for black and white students to be unconstitutional. It stated that ''separate educational facilities are inherently unequal.''
Gay Sex. Lawrence v. Texas ruled that sodomy laws were unconstitutional, making same-sex sexual activity legal in all US states and territories. It explicitly overturned another Supreme Court decision, Bowers v. Hardwick, a case which had previously ruled such laws to be constitutional.
Supreme Court Bracket: Results of the Semifinals
Near v. Brown was a landslide victory for School Desegregation (96.97%)
Loving v. Lawrence, on the other hand, was a tie! As with other ties in tournaments I run, my vote doesn't count, and so Gay Sex narrowly beats Interracial Marriage.
Finale tomorrow!
Alabama VS Arkansas

I am taking everyone who made a poll to gauge the True Percentage of Queers on Tumblr and putting them through a statistics course

Pre-Publication Censorship is Unconstitutional. The case Near v. Minnesota is a landmark United States Supreme Court decision that found that prior restraints on publication violate freedom of the press as protected under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, a principle that was applied to free speech generally in subsequent jurisprudence. The Court ruled that a Minnesota law that targeted publishers of ''malicious'' or ''scandalous'' newspapers violated the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.
School Desegregation. State laws establishing separate public schools for black and white students to be unconstitutional. It stated that ''separate educational facilities are inherently unequal.''
