He did as she asked. Normally, he wouldn't care if she didn't finish. It wasn't his problem. Dammit, though, right now he didn't wanna cum and leave her behind. It felt... wrong. Incomplete.
So he leaned into her neck, licked up the side of her throat and then bit at her pulse point, hard and deliberate. He gripped her hip, thrusting into her a little harder and faster for a few moments until--
He arched against her as he came, pulling out just in time and spilling out on the divot where her hip met her thigh. A soft groan buzzed in his throat and he pressed his face further into her neck, biting again out of pure instinct.
It wasn't vicious, as his bites often were, and yet it was somehow more intense than any previous bite. It pushed her to the edge with a gasp, but not quite over, and she opened her eyes when he arched, watching his face in the fading light. He was gorgeous, and he was no longer giving up. That was so, so important.
The second bite did her in, and she held onto him as she arched against him in turn, a gentle cry escaping her as she held the back of his head, keeping him near. Inhaling deeply, she pressed her cheek against his head, then exhaled a sigh.
Reaching over, she found the half a coconut she'd offered him before, the one he'd drank the water from, but not eaten, and she handed it to him.
"Eat. You need your strength," she murmured.
Her cry rang in his head and for a split second, he could have sworn the sound was warming his very soul. What a stupid notion that was. Clearly the post-sex haze was fucking with his brain more than usual. She was holding him so close, breathing him in... God help him. He sighed out again, long and slow and satisfied, and drew away from her, shifting onto his back and rubbing a hand down his face. He dragged his trousers back up and tucked his rapidly softening dick back in.
That had been... different. And really fucking nice.
Still, he didn't move away. He was close enough to press against her side, his cheek brushing against her shoulder as she handed him the coconut half. For once, he didn't argue. Yeah. He did need his strength. Because he didn't want to die. Maybe he would anyway. Maybe it was a lost cause. But he had to try.
So he picked at the flesh of the coconut and began to eat. Without looking over at her, he lifted a leg and draped it over hers.
