Have you ever wondered who would win if we forced all the popular Sherlock Holmes adaptations to fight each other? Now I shall answer. i absolutely love the Holmes/Watson dynamic in the Guy Ritchie movies. itâs so strange and chaotic and one of the most underrated in my opinion
the rdj sherlock movies were so much bolder than the BBC
like wdym we had sherlock canonically in drag and a well-written plot and reichenbach arc at the same time

while these movies are by no means the best Holmes adaptation, they have a special place in my heart. Ritchieâs version was the first version of Sherlock Holmes i ever saw and was what got me into the fandom. so while i wonât defend it as the most book-accurate or best adaptation, i WILL shamelessly endorse it
