the boy woke up from his long term rest and rubbed his eyes. he was confused, there was no shouting, no one was running miles upon miles of laps. no one was yelling at each other or complaining about the harsh requirements that needed to be done in order to be a soldier. it was quiet.. eerily quiet and it didn't settle right on him, getting out of his bunk bed not bothering to fix up the room he got on his long sleeved shirt and his boots. fingers feeling around on the walls since it was so bright out it was going to take a minute or two to adjust to such lighting( sleeping in the dark was his favorite thing to do, ). he held onto a pole and blinked a couple of times before looking up at the pole and tilted his head. "ah? is this a new bounty? i wonder who's the shithead that fucked up today!" he snickered to himself and yanked it off, slumping down and sat against the pole he tilted his head observing it. his smile began to slowly fade away and the heir of hell found himself feeling sick to his stomach, his hands began to shake and his head started to hurt.

everyone passed the young boy thinking he was just a lost child, damien found himself curled up against the pole and hiding his head. one hand clenching the paper and not even realizing that he was burning it. a male soldier walked over and shook him slightly to get his attention, "hey, hey kid you should go home. this isn't for little kids," damien refused to look up, however and just shouted albeit it being muffled "fuck off!". "listen brat, i'm going to be nice about this," he looked up, finally and his eyes were as bright as the flames he summoned. he stood up and threw the now crumbled paper to the floor. "listen, i dont give a fuck who you are. you arent my mentor, you aren't leon! you dont FUCKING boss me around and you DONT fucking call me a boy! I'LL BURN YOUR FUCKING SKULL AND LEAVE THE REST OF YOU FOR THE SUN TO DRY UP SO FUCK OFF!"

and ofcourse he'd get laughed at. he was used to people not believing him so he just stomped off and was marching down the streets of thalassia with flames rising up behind him. anything at the sides of the street were probably being lit up, mail boxes, lamp posts. he didn't realize the destruction he was causing and probably wont. he was upset and he couldn't think of any reason why. damien wasn't used to feeling things like a normal person, he was just a child, physically and emotionally he was a child. mentally he had some level of maturity.

again. he saw another wanted poster, again he felt the anger in him rise and reaching up he grabbed the poster and when his hands lit up to burn it he stopped half way and just slumped to his knees, sniffling. "i'm sorry..." why was he even apologizing? he didn't do anything to cause this.

"i'm sorry, i'm sorry i- please tell me this is a nightmare... maybe i passed out?" now he was lying to himself. "haha thats it! leon just overworked me and this is all a nightmare..! yeah, yeah!" he stood up and finished burning the paper in his hands. he rubbed his eyes, despite the smile he was still crying his eyes out, he was still livid. he wanted to do something but what? he was just a kid, like everyone kept telling him, he was a child. what good could he do?
