After finishing up the starry moth pattern, I felt like I was on a roll and thought that it might be fun to keep up the patternmaking party.Â
Almost six hours later (which was, er, longer than I was expecting to spend on this, but that’s OK), BAM! DANA SCULLY PATTERN (I’ve been watching the original run of the X-Files for the past couple weeks while working and my head’s all full of the show/Gillian Anderson’s unfathomable awesomeness as Scully).

Pasamos en un parpadeo al segundo episodio Founder’s Mutation que siendo el primer MOTW nos trajo una sorpresa emocional bastante fuerte por parte de un elemento muy importante en esta historia, William.Â

Mi experiencia NYCC 2015 [Contiene spoilers]
Hace un año escribĂa algunos “Tips” de Comic Con y me pareciĂł interesante cuando Timehop me los recordaba. DecĂa, “Ninguna experiencia es como la primera, acepta los cambios y disfruta el momento” (otro decĂa “Cuando el idioma sea una barrera, deja que hable tu camiseta” y me reĂ mucho porque mi camiseta en inmigraciĂłn hizo divertido el paso por ahĂ).
Creo que es lo que siempre digo a la hora de sentarme aquĂ, afortunadamente por tercer año consecutivo, ninguna experiencia es igual a la otra y no es bueno o malo, solo diferente.
AsĂ comienzo mi relato de la experiencia NYCC 2015 y me parece ya largo el camino recorrido desde aquella vez que Gillian Anderson comenzĂł a ir a convenciones y yo decidĂ soñar y realizar la aventura de conocerla. Pero esta vez ella no estuvo allĂ, y el escenario si me lo hubiesen dicho hace un año, no lo hubiese creĂdo. Este año irĂa a New York, a ver el primer episodio de la dĂ©cima temporada de The X-Files (No los horribles comics, no. La verdadera dĂ©cima temporada).

Roles without complexity just don’t interest me. I don’t see Scully as being particularly complex, yet she continues to represent such an iconic female presence in TV. She’s outspoken, powerful.. Attributes common to women, but that were uncommon in women characters at the time. At the same time, she was just one of us. I don’t think Stella is. I don’t know how normal she is.
