Epicardtome
Hey folks! Since Frameworks (my other board game) is finished and just needs some balance work, I figured I would pick up an old project of mine. Its called Epicardtome (epic-ard-tom-y), and its sorta like a chose your own adventure table top dungeon crawler.
Most of the games mechanics are made and âworkingâ, but it is a ways off from being done. The core focus for Epicardtome was to make RPG style board game akin to things like pathfinder and DnD but without the need for a DM as the game handles all the narrative for the players. I have no idea if this idea will pan out but I am gonna do my best to make it work!
The floating island named Last Refuge is our gameâs player hub. You will encounter a variety of NPCs on the Last Refuge, Above are a handful of the characters you will interact with. They will provide services from crafting new weapons and armor to creating potions to aid you on your ventures below. Some NPCs will be strictly for story dialogue as well as having personal story lines and relationships with each other. Â
This is our bat monster, cause every RPG needs bats! They will fly around and swoop at you, and if everything works as planned they will be super annoying. FUN! Of course once you have killed enough bats and a few dire bats maybe a couple other critters, you will be able to craft the armor and weapons seen above.Â

Weapon Set - Cannon
Our cannons are capable of a multitude of options. They can fire powerful single shots, a fully automatic stream of destruction, and even a constant beam of energy. The cannon also comes with placeable turrets, whose abilities change depending on the weapon you build.
