Grian and Mumbo are the kind of duo where if you buy one of them separately, the other will just materialise in your home and you cannot understand where the other even came from because you didn't get the other one so how on earth are they even here?!

I think its silly to get mad at Grian for being vague about watcher lore when thats literally the best part about it. The lore is intentionally vague so we as the audience can play ideas with them If Grian were to suddenly make a whole episode making concrete lore about the watchers, the whole fandom would have to accept that as canon. There could be au's sure, but everyone would have a general idea of "whats canon vs whats not" I think its cool we can do what ever we want with them, and honestly thats just kind of how Grian story tells. He gives us the basics, we fill in the blanks with our own imagination and honestly? its cool

thinking about how mumbo is so endlessly and effortlessly appreciative of his fellow hermits when it comes to their builds, their play style, and their points of view. his compliments always seem incredibly heartfelt and he brings an infectious curiousity to his videos in regards to why and how the hermits are doing what they're doing. I love that it's not enough for him to incorporate his interests into his videos when it comes to photography, he wants to share that genuine joy with us and them. I often come away from his videos feeling a sense of wanting to make a more conscious effort to be grateful and thoughtful of the people and world around me.
