  "Perhaps weird wasn’t quite the right word I was meaning for you. How about creepy, strange, perverted, and I’m starting to believe that you might be a little bit gay for wanting to talk to me so much. Especially when you’re talking about chest hair, of all things.”

"You might wanna think twice on calling me gay. After all isn't  it you and Mulciber that are the gay ones? I'm sorry, but you walked right into that one. With all respect I'm going to go take me and my chest somewhere else."

"It isn’t that hard to see me laughing, is it? Specially not if it is at other people."

"Well at least you laugh. I know quite a few people who don't even try to laugh. I guess Slytherin's are placed under quite a bit of stress though."

"Ouch. Now you’ve hurt me deeply."

"Well I'm glad I could make you laugh... even if it is at myself."

"Well, according to your own theory, you are. I don’t see any chest hair there, you know."

"Well you see..." Dirk dragged on, rolling around his tongue.

"So you’re saying you’re a woman?"

"Well no. I'm not a woman,and you're not blind, or so I think."

I’m sure you do. Just being pestered by a Hufflepuff, what about you Cresswell?

"I'm fine. Though I could be better." He shrugged and took a sigh, "I need to get away from here for a little while."

It’s always good to see that people are using the brains that they were given. Well, most of us, anyways. Why are you asking how my day was? It’s not like you care.

"Change of topic? I don't know. I do care about you, but that's just because I'm nice. Now what's up, Black?"

Ignorant? Pray tell, whatever could you mean Cresswell? 

"Never mind that. I was hoping to keep my head attached another day. How was your day anyways?"

Ted knew that this year he wanted to have a good Quidditch team. If he had to find newer people to play, that would work too. He’d heard that the other Captains were building solid teams too and all he could do was try to bring his best game. He wasn’t someone who got angry when he lost. He just changed his tactics the next time.

Dirk smiled at Ted in return, and appreciated his choice of words. The term ‘lack of practice’ was a nice way to put it. Especially when Dirk had no idea exactly how to play Quidditch. 

Dirk looked where Rita was gesturing, and saw the girl. Tall, olive skin, and brown eyes. Never would Dirk make a move on a girl right away, but with the alcohol in his system he wasn't himself. He shrugged Rita off, and started to shimmy his way toward the girl. 

Rita raised her eyebrows in disbelief. “You are probably one of four total people here who aren’t planning on getting laid.” She was included in that four, but she didn’t need to say that. “Don’t sell yourself short, Dirk, I’m sure you’d have an easy time of it if you changed your mind.” Rita grinned, leaning toward him a little. This conversation had suddenly become very interesting. ”My intentions are to get you laid.”

-A couple drinks later- Dirk's head felt light, and fluffy. He had only a couple drinks, and was already starting to lose it. Dirk never knew just how much of a light weight he was, and now Rita was seeing this side of him. He knew he'd regret it, but wanted to have fun in the moment. Dirk's crazy side took over. He had a idea.
