The tale of a Lightwood and a Carstairs (A poem)
There was once two boys who fought demons (literally and metaphorically)
One who was forced to grow up quickly
And the other who was sheltered too much
One who had to become the bully to avoid getting bullied
And the other who was always referred to as ‘the kind one’
One who hides behind his sharp tongue
And the other who wears his heart on his sleeve
Both have endured loss and tragedy
But both love each other endlessly and unconditionally
One thinks he is undeserving
But Thomas Lightwood will spend his entire life making sure that he knows how deserving of love he is.
The other feels too much sometimes
But Alastair Carstairs will spend his entire life easing the pain the best that he can.
There was once two boys who fought demons (literally and metaphorically) and they loved each other until the end, and beyond that.
