Perhaps it was better not said, but the knowing look said it all.

"So fresh coriander leaves and.. coriander seeds. Yep, I don't use those in my recipes so you're fine. I do however use them in my cooking, but this isn't that. Would you be able to tell me what exactly is the issue with the lack of sleep? Is it the falling asleep? Staying asleep?"

She continued to tap things into her touch pad, giving him a smile.

His smile did ... twitch? Falter? Somewhere in that family, it was hard to describe how his expression changed, or perhaps just he air around him changed. That was a question he did not feel okay answering but ... like he said himself. Can't get help...

"To answer that question. I can get to sleep just fine when I want to, and then sometimes I wake up, sometimes I sleep the whole night. But I never feel rested. I have a dream that bothers me, as silly as that is."

He let out a sigh as he leaned on the counter, not thinking about it much.

Pari immediately brought out a little touchscreen pad, rapidly tapping in the details.

"Could you tell me beforehand if you have any allergies, please? Helps to keep things like that in mind."

A bit of an odd question, given she was a connoisseur of concoctions, a brewer for the things that other tinctures couldn't reach. It never hurt to ensure that all possible issues were dealt with.

"Weird question, I know. But someone didn't tell me that they were allergic to a certain ingredient and.. yeah, that went down well."

She made a weird noise with her mouth before she would gesture for him to step over to the counter.

"Don't be scared, I won't blow you up."

Asking about allergies though? That was a good sign. "Nothing that I am aware of... Oh, cilantro. I always forget about that. And no worries, it is not a weird question at all. I appreciate the professionalism to ask that question."

Another small smile and chuckle when she said she wouldn't blow him up, making his way to the counter where she gestured.

"Welcome to Brew-Ha-Ha. Where the apothecary is no joke."

Well, she thought it was pretty funny, anyway. Whether or not the stranger did was another thing entirely.

"How may I help?"

How to help? He was about to say he saw the place and wanted to just look around, but the man shook his head. Nah, best get to the point.

"Someone I worked with had said some good things about your shop here, speaking well and saying the stuff you sell works. Figured I would check it out. So uhm... got anything to help with sleep? Melatonin and warm tea just aren't cutting it anymore." He needed to sleep, or at least get the dream to stop.
