The shift of Brain's expressions here is so peculiar to me. In the show itself it's natural to see him getting peeved with Pinky should he be running around while he's in the middle of something, but in this snippet he seems so... worried? concerned? sad??

not sure if you use this account much anymore, but how you stylize and write dialogue for the mice (ESPECIALLY for brain) has really captivated me, and its really hit home for how you write brain's intrusive thoughts of violence towards pinky. it made me emotional! thank you for sharing your art!

For my Concept Art class, we were asked to redesign a pre-existing character for a live-action setting, either by making them look like a 3d model or going for a more “Space Jam” or “Adventures of Gumball” approach. The twist was that we were to trade characters with the person next to us, so none of us got to do the character we picked, haha. I got Pinky from “Pinky and the Brain.” This was actually really fun!

i feel like mice need a new ability- they have Squeaking and Be Small, but they need something new or else they’re just underpowered.

This is actually really insensitive post and to try and generalize all mice to two abilities is really sad and telling on your own part. mice have many great abilities and can do much more than just Squeaking and Be Small, mouse can actually run in the ball or on the wheel or eat a cracker or clean behind their ears or do cocaine or drive surprisingly well for such little guys.

The fact Brain was SO upset here, but he couldn’t bring himself to hurt Pinky when he cowers. Instead, he chooses to take his frustrations out on himself, and that both cracks and fucks me up every time.
