Sebastian shook his head when Alex claimed to have ghosted him. Did it really matter? No, of course not. He ghosted guys all the time, it wasnât a big deal to him. âCongratulations, am I the first person of age youâve ghosted? Itâs not like I actually tried keeping tabs on you, but sure. Believe whatever you would like, if it helps you sleep at night.â He spat back.
âUnfortunately for both of us I actually do have to stay, itâs a school policy. I would rather not meet your father so I could get you out of here in 20 minutes so you donât have to wait so long.â He stated simply.
He shook his head, a brief smug smile on his lips. âAs if you were the only guy of age I saw over the summer.â maybe it was a slutty comment, but heâd rather Sebastian know he had other sexual relations then face the truth that Sebastian had been his first and only one since.Â
He was too stubborn to accept Sebastianâs help He didnât want to seem like a damsel in need of rescue from the guy heâd slept with a fair few times. A part of him wanted to make Sebastian sweat it, upon seeing who his dad was, but also, he knew his dad was perceptive and would not mistake the tension between the two of them.Â
âWhatever. Iâm not saying thank you. Do what you want.â he muttered, pulling out his phone and turning his back to the guy.Â
shitstirringsmytheâ:
Alex wasnât wrong. Heâd invited him over quite a few times that summer, but he wouldnât have even considered it if he knew his age. This could get him in a deep deal of trouble, then again, heâd done something similar when he was in high school, so he couldnât exactly blame Alex. âRight⌠Well now all of that is going to have to stop or be very different.â He stated simply, looking around. They werenât in direct view of a camera, but there was one on top of the building, if they wanted to they could zoom in on them.Â
âWell unfortunately for you, I canât just leave students stranded at the school.â Sebastian stated simply. âIâll have to wait around with you until your father arrives. Unless⌠You would like a hand with that tire.â He said with a shrug. Sebastian wanted to know exactly how old he was. Why heâd done it, all of the above. He now understood the headache he gave the older guys he lied to back in his high school days a few years prior.Â
Alex couldnât help but let out a snort. âStop? Bitch, didnât you realize that when I ghosted you that was me stopping it? Look, you were great and we had fun but thatâs all it was. So, nothing has to be different because there is nothing which needs to be changed.â he snapped. Maybe it was harsh, but it was better than facing the truth of his own feelings that him ghosting Sebastian had been due to the reason that he was feeling more than he should towards the guy.Â
Seeing Sebastianâs look around them and up towards the camera, he simply rolled his eyes and leaned back against his car door. âLike I said, I donât need your help. Youâve done the custodial thing of checking Iâm okay, Iâm fine, fucking peachy even so get in your car and do us both the favour and fuck off. You do not want to be here when my dad gets here, trust me.âÂ
veronicaxlodgexâ:
âI was jus thinking that, if I am being honest. I donât know what has happened because you guys werenât doing that bad. Has the football team even won?â veronica asked the other, looking over at him. âYou really donât sound to happy with the team either. Everything okay?â
âWeâve won games. I said weâre abysmal, not catastrophic.â he retorted. âBut this year is the final year for a lot of us, it would mean something if we could actually make it to the championships. Coach has gotten complacent in recruiting good players, or players who even care. I guess Iâm not happy because if a miserable asshole like me can care, why canât others? Do you really want to cheer for a losing team this year?âÂ
pridefvlambitionâ:
kurt decided to spend his day off with the glee club as a guest singer to touch base where he had expertise in. as it all came to a close , he took to the grounds and found himself on the bleachers while football practice was currently happening. âso why not go for something that excites you? â kurt asked him as he was only a few feet from him on the same row. kurt remembered his time on the football team , it was a poor attempt to mask who he was , a way he thought that would level himself to his dadâs expectations. even during that dark time ,he managed to score a touchdown ,a feeling heâd never forget , but never enough to make him stay. his heart will always be in the arts ⌠in the theater. â something that challenges you. â
He shrugged towards the guy. âFootball keeps my dad off my back and I donât mind playing it. Itâs my last year and Iâve never missed a kick so why give it up now?â he might not be overly enthusiastic about it, but he had good friends on the team and he knew how much it mattered to them. âI know what I want to do in life, play music, you know DJ and Iâm set to do that as soon as Iâm out of this hellhole.âÂ

Archie walked off the field when the coaches said they wanted to work with some of the defensive plays. In his mind they needed to pick up the slack if they were going to win any games. Frustrated with the way things were going, he removed himself otherwise heâd say something he would regret. He was a running back and a quarterback, he had nothing to do with defense and they were playing horribly. âHonestly yeah. We fucking suck this year. Well, the defense does anyway.â He shook his head with a roll of his eyes. âIf they canât block, itâs gonna be all on us.âÂ
âCoach Clayton is an idiot for moving those Sophomoreâs up to Varsity this year. Doesnât matter how big they are, they donât realize that for some of us this is our last year. They donât care and it shows.â he added, popping the lid off a Gatorade bottle and passing it over to Archie. âHydrate.â he commented, before cracking one open for himself. âAnd Iâm pretty certain Grath and Rosenthal do not give a shit, theyâve spent more time gossiping like a pair of bitches than actually focusing on the plays.âÂ
shitstirringsmytheâ:
With school back in session, lacrosse was back in session. âGet it together, come on!â Sebastian found himself yelling at the team along with their head coach. It was an interesting dynamic heâd found himself in; occasional visits back to his old high school. It caused him to wonder if he was moving backwards rather than toward his future. Granted, this would be the last year of it all. He was leaving the state for grad school, that much Sebastian was completely sure of. All of the drama that was chasing him was becoming too much; he felt like he couldnât handle it anymore.Â
Luckily practice was over and the boys were on their way home. Sebastian found himself in the athletic office working on some paperwork that he neglected the evening before. It was a good job, but not a career. It paid the bills, something that wasnât a huge concern for him, but Sebastian appreciated the extra cash-flow. It didnât take long, so once he was done, he decided to head home for the evening.Â
Making his way out the door, he started his Mustang from the inside so it would be ready to roll for when he got out of the building. But as he made his way toward the parking lot, he found himself nearly shitting his pants internally at the site of the individual he saw. Alex⌠He couldnât remember the last name of the guy, or if he even gave him a last name, but it was the guy he met at Seventh Heaven and now he knew why he was so ambiguous, heâd been hiding the entire time.Â
Luckily, there was no one there, maybe a few of the night crew janitorial staff. From what Sebastian could tell, the kid was stranded and no one was there with him. âWell, well wellâŚâ He began with a sigh as he looked the boy up and down. âYou were fishy from the start and now I know whyâŚâ He began, gesturing to the Groves gym bag. âGreat job until now, I must say Iâm slightly impressed.â Sighing to himself he looked at the flat tire and back at Alex. He cleared his throat an looked around their surroundings to ensure no one else was around. âDo you need any help? Do you have a parent on the way?â He asked just as he would with any other student.Â
He was fucked. And not in the way he wouldâve wanted. He couldnât even find the words to come up with some bullshit reason for him being here. The game had lasted as long as he could make it. What came of it, came of it. He just kept the scowl fixed on his face when Sebastian called him out. Followed by a huff of frustration, he rolled his eyes.Â
âDidnât stop you though coming back for seconds, or was it thirds, no wait, it was fourths.â he retorted, tone snappy. He hated being busted. And he equally hated the look in Sebastianâs eyes. How he now just looked at him like a child. He hated the look.Â
âNot that it matters, but my dad will be here in an hour. Heâs just finishing work at the station. I donât need your help.â he said, turning his back on the guy and taking out his phone. If Sebastian wasnât going to question it more, he wasnât going to make it a bigger thing. They could just forget what happened, move on and after this year heâd be gone anyway.Â
It was exhausting. Avoiding a certain someone for almost a month was beginning to take its toll. To begin with it had been easy. Darting into classrooms, hiding behind other students when their paths crossed in the hallways. With Lacrosse and Football rarely overlapping, he had timed how long it was safe to stay in the locker room after practice. But the fear always remained and steadily built as the days and weeks passed of the new school year. Guilt crept up every time he saw him. But it couldnât cancel out the desire which flooded through him like lava also. Their summer fling had been intense. Passionate, exhilarating, he could wax lyrical about the man he equally hated and pined for. But like all good things, the inevitability of it coming to crash down on him happened sooner than he expected.Â
It all started with the goddamned tyre blowing out in the school parking lot. Practice had finished and nearly everyone else had disappeared. His dad couldnât make it for another hour or so and he certainly wasnât risking his premiums for calling roadside assistance. Changing a tyre was something he could do, but he wasnât the most built of guys and the idea of doing it himself was daunting. So when he heard the school doors opening, he turned quickly to see if it was someone who could potentially help him. But like the gods playing tricks on him, it was the one person he didnât want to come face to face with. It was too late to hide, but he quickly unlocked the door and shoved the Groves gym bag in the back before shrugging off his jacket and hiding it underneath.Â
How the fuck was he going to get out of this? Maybe if he just kept his head down, looked at his phone and turned his body slightly away from his gaze Sebastian would keep walking. Â @shitstirringsmytheâ
âIs it me or has the team gotten extremely.....well, letâs not sugar coat it. Fucking abysmal?â he commented, leaning back in his seat on the bleachers as he surveyed the football team running through a couple of the plays. His job was easy. Kick the ball. But even he could see the lacklustre approach some of the guys were having towards it. He wasnât completely enthralled with sport, but it was enough to keep weight on and get his dad off his back.Â
freewheelingxbaneâ:
âWell, arenât you a little grumpy about it.â Magnus commented as he sipped his drink and shrugged. âEh, I donât know. Sometimes people fall into old habits, I guess it just shows weâre all human.â
âIâm perpetually grumpy and angry at everything, its kind of my niche.â he replied with a shrug, knowing what people thought of him and his somewhat morbid and pessimistic views on life. âIâm just saying, thereâs better ways to prove yourself than putting on a dress and winning a tiara. Whereâs the pride? The ambition?â

âI mean I guess. But whatâs so wrong with getting a chance to look at girls youâll only have a chance with in your dreams?â Toby answered the guys question. He was just making his way through to another destination. Toby wasnât for or against the pageant, but he didnât mind the show of girls whatsoever. âItâs the same thing for guys who do body building competition. For girls itâs beauty, for guys itâs strength. Same reward. To prove yourself better than the rest.âÂ
he let out a scoff. âSpeak for yourself, the perk of being a jock means your dating pool widens significantly. Even if I donât actually intend of taking advantage of it. But seeing girls who I know are less than lady like fake smile and wave and show off to a town? Itâs nauseating.â but Tobyâs next words made him bristle slightly. âSo, youâre saying women are only good for beauty and that they donât have their own strength? That theyâre just things to look at whilst the men do everything?â Alex, for all intents and purposes, was a feminist. It was hard not to be when most of his girlfriends were powerhouses in striving for female dominance.Â
thearchibaldandrewsâ:
Archie shrugged to himself at Alexâs comment. He wasnât completely wrong, but a few of his friends were in the pageant and he wanted to be supportive. âI guess it is kind of lame⌠I donât know, Iâm just here to support Betty and Cheryl. Why did you decide to come, bro?âÂ
Alex raised a brow as if it were a stupid quetion. âWhen your dad is Sheriff, its apparently mandatory to follow him to every event. Or more like he wants to keep an eye on me. A few too many late nights out and suddenly heâ trying to get father of the year by watching who I spend my time with. Iâd take this horror show over his beady gaze.âÂ
shitstirringsmytheâ:
Alex Standall. Sebastian figured the carnival would be the last place heâd see the whiner, probably too upbeat of a place for him, but hey⌠Everyone had to start somewhere. He was probably too tired of commiserating. However, as he began running his mouth Sebastian took back all of his thoughts. âOh, you donât like looking at the beautiful women walking across the stage? Thatâs a shame, some of them work for it. Others try too hard for it if you get what I mean. But I understand what youâre saying.âÂ
He shot Sebastian a look of disdain. âI know most of these women and half of them are not pageant material nor good candidates for representing the town.â he didnât say much else, as most of the contestants were high school age. He hadnât seen Sebastian for a good week or so, trying to maintain his distance after failing for the third time and falling into his bed again. It was getting precarious enough already and with school starting up in just a few days it was questioning he wanted to avoid. âYou here by yourself?âÂ
glamorousmonaâ:
âOh quit your whining, itâs getting old. Most of the school is over it by now.â Mona stated simply. Though, he did have a point, Mona felt that beauty pageants sent the feminist movement back quite a few years. âThough⌠I will give you some credit. This is quite pointless.âÂ
âCan it Mona.â he retorted, not afraid of the girl having known where she first started from. âI wouldnât be the Alex you all know and detest if I wasnât complaining about something. But come on, truly you must see how backwards it all is? A crown and popularity contest shouldnât measure who you are as a female.âÂ
âHave you ever seen something so archaic? I mean, really, a beauty pagent? Fucking kill me now.â he said, rolling his eyes disdainfully at the announcement just made for contestants to go to the stage shortly.Â

shitstirringsmytheâ:
âGood.â Sebastian hummed. He moved even closer so that their bodies were nearly touching. âNow⌠You have two choices. You can either come back to bed with me and Iâll give you the time of your life again, or you can go to breakfast. Take your pick.âÂ
It was inevitable, here he could see and smell Sebastian up close and like a drug, he was taken in again. He was pinned between the man and the counter and every rational part of him was screaming for him to dip now. To leave and save face before things got completely out of hand. Or, in the worst case, more serious. âJust so you know, I despise you. Iâm only here because youâre good at fucking.â he said, determined to get the last word as his hands roamed Sebastianâs chest.Â
shitstirringsmytheâ:
âLovely.â Sebastian replied sarcastically. And this was the exact reason he never took guys home. He knew nothing about their attitudes, their behaviors. It was also the exact reason he didnât do relationships; it was too much for him. âI donât want a child.â He breathed as he inched closer.Â
How did he even get back into this situation? He shouldâve just dipped the moment he woke up. Now he felt himself unable to leave, not that he couldnât just bolt for the door right now but something kept him glued to his position. He could feel a low thrum of energy between them both, the crackling of electricity as both seemed to not be arguing as such now, but equally trying to get under the others skin. His arms folded across his chest as the hair on them pricked up as he inched closer. âAnd Iâm not one so.....â the statement was left open, for him to do with what he wanted.Â
