I tried to go exploring and barely got out of camp before my horse -- the O'Driscoll Tennessee Walker -- DROPPED DEAD "because of the harsh weather" (even though missions literally send you out anyway with no such consequences).

So then I wondered what would happen when I went to do a mission since I have no horse...only to find THE O'DRISCOLL HORSE conveniently alive again and waiting for me.

Like, I know the game kinda had to respawn that specific horse because it's the only designated mount Arthur has at that point, but consider: that horse is cursed. I have a sneaking suspicion the horse came back for revenge on me because I got him killed 🫠

Dutch's lil pep talk in Chapter One pisses me off so much because you can literally find his scribbled speech notes the minute you get to Horseshoe Overlook. The whole thing was scripted and rehearsed with little notes to "throw in some generic filler about freedom" to reinspire the gang's allegiance and maintain the illusion he has some great plan to deliver them.

This man was manipulative and deceitful from day one. He couldn't even say a few genuine words from the heart for the fallen members of the gang. It's all just pretty words and false promises. "If I could throw myself in the ground in their stead, I would, gladly." THEN ACTUALLY PUT YOURSELF ON THE LINE FOR ONCE INSTEAD OF TREATING ALL THESE VULNERABLE PEOPLE AS EXPENDABLE MARTYRS FOR YOUR DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR!

Dutch icks me out just as much as Micah, if not more. Micah is an unrepentant sadistic criminal and makes no attempt to hide what he is, whereas Dutch likes to paint himself as an "honourable rogue", a father figure and saviour, and people love and trust him -- only for him to show cold, dead apathy. The treachery of it all just makes him far more horrifying than Micah could ever be.

there is this really specific thing that very Online women of a certain age (mostly older millennials and younger gen x in my experience) who are married to a man will do where they will refer to their husbands as "Mr. (Part of My Username)"

so like if the username is something like "dancingwithbears" they'll refer to their husband as "Mr. Bears"

i think it is extremely charming

Bit of a vent but I do wish people didn't insist on harassing introverts like myself who just aren't talkative and are perfectly content to simply do our own thing in silence.

This team manager who isn't even from our department likes to pop in at random just to be annoying and today he asked me "Are you always this quiet? Even at home?" Um, yeah? "In this department? It's always so noisy, being quiet like this is rare." ...Okay?? Some of my workmates chimed in to say that yeah, I'm always quiet, I'm just kinda shy (which is only partly true, sometimes it's literally just that I don't feel the need / wish to talk).

But the thing that was really just kinda funny was this guy seriously asked me: "What would motivate you to be a noisy person?" As if it's some goal that I need to be motivated to achieve.

Like...why do I have to be a noisy person, especially since, as you say, this is a plenty noisy department already? Are you just offended I don't want to chitchat with you in particular? And you think getting all up in my face and hounding me about the way I just am is going to somehow help me "overcome" this "flaw"? I don't owe you small talk. Please let me have my thirty minute lunch break in peace.
