Sometimes self-care is, actually, NOT getting onto the computer and little treats and watching youtube videos. Sometimes those things are self-care, but sometimes they're also avoidant behaviors.

I've spent my 18 years of life trying to be okay with the fact that humans fade in and out of each others' lives. No matter how I think about it, I can't make it sound romantic or poetic. there's a lot of pressure to automatically know who you are, forever. this is impossible. you just woke up this morning, and can't have been in today for longer than 24 hours - so you don't have that much time to figure out who you are today. if it feels comfortable for you to be very into frogs today, i am glad it pleases you to look at frogs. you do not need to prove to me or anyone else how much today's you enjoys frogs. enjoy them, my love.
