Moving In

This was exciting.  Her heart raced and she wanted to laugh for the thrill and  joy she felt.  Yamcha liked the idea of moving in.  They seemed to be meshing well.  Bouncing ideas off each other.  Being a team.  The boys would be happy.   Chi-Chi had to make sure they didn’t feel that their father had been replaced.  Just their family opened a little wider to let in other people they all loved.  Grinning she bounce along beside him anxious to be there already but loving the change she could feel in her heart was right for them all, Yamcha included.

“Alright, I’ll drive.” He didn’t really mind, he loved his car. It wasn’t the most expensive one he could have, but it was reliable and could carry quite a bit. Seeing Chi Chi all excited about the car, it made him laugh, never imagining one to be enthusiastic about them,” Its really fast. C’mon, I’ll take ya to it.”

What’s your Muse’s reaction to finding mine stumbling through the streets, badly wounded?

“Yes!!!  We should start right away.  Maybe seeing the land would help.  You up for a road trip?”  Chi-Chi tugs and his hand in both of hers.   “Goten has been telling me all about your new car.  The boys are having a late day and Papa can get them if we need him to.  We have time if we leave now!  Do you have any other plans for today?”

“Road trip?” Oh boy, Goten must of blabbed about his cruiser. Wouldn’t of been the first time but, least now he had some insurance on the new one. “I don’t have any other plans today so I’m up for it. Gotta warn ya though, my car is rather fast so you’re gonna have to be careful. But sure, I’m game.”

“That would be wonderful!!!” Chi-Chi eyes were bright and sparkled.  She giggled and hugged Yamcha again.  Giving him a kiss on the cheek.  “A dojo sounds amazing.  We could clear enough land so it can be right next to or near by the house if you want.  We should build the Dojo or get another capsule house.  I can’t bare to destroy Goku’s house.  Lets leave it there.” Chi-Chi  takes his hand and gives it a squeeze.  “Papa said we could have the whole lake if we wanted.  So, lets pick a spot.  There are three rivers that feed the lake.  We can be close to one of them for running water.”  Chi-Chi was so excited she didn’t let go of his hand.  “What do you think?  I don’t want to run away with your dream.”

Yamcha’s cheeks were immediately red from the hug and kiss to it, chuckling at her antics. “Glad ya like the idea Chi-Chi! We can try to see if we can build a dojo first, I’m sure Gohan wouldn’t mind helping me out with it, as well as Krillin. We can use the wood from the trees to build it.” This was becoming better the more they talked about it, a nice home and a dojo nearby to teach kids martial arts. “Sounds really good. I wasn’t really sure how to start a dojo up but this is perfect! Uhh should we start making the plans now?”

Based on my writing, how old would you THINK I was?

Turning back to Yamcha. “I would be mad if Puar didn’t come too. I want our whole family together.” Chi-Chi hugs him. “I am glad you are considering it. Don’t tell Goten yet. Let’s work things out first. Should we find a new house or move into….yours? ”

“She’ll be happy to come and join, I’m sure.” He smiled but was taken back by the sudden hug, chuckling at this new development. The mention of a home did bring up some questions,” Er...Puar and I live in an apartment in the city. Maybe we can look at houses on the market. I’m sure we’ll find something big enough for all of us.”

“Would you consider blending our family together for the boys. Live under one roof so Goten doesn’t have to go back and forth? Just an idea I had the other night when Goten called out for you after a nightmare. We would have our own rooms…. Just a thought.” Chi-Chi looks uncomfortable. “ I should have thought this threw more. Sorry to drop that bomb on you.” Chi-Chi turns away. “Goten is expecting you to pick him up after school today. Have a great evening. Just make sure he sleeps tonight. ”

Yeah, that caught him completely off-guard, having her ask this. Seeing her turn away, he debated about it in his head, reaching over to grab onto her shoulder,” Well..I..I don’t see why not. I mean, I’d like to Chi-Chi. I just hope ya don’t mind if I bring Puar along, that cool?” He smiled at the very thought, maybe he can now be a bit closer to what he considered as his family.
