i have a small tattoo of a star on my middle finger

i can play the guitar, piano, ukulele, and assorted simple percussion instruments. my vocal range is pretty mezzo-soprano but i've sung everything from soprano 1 to alto 2 (small schools, everyone). i've quit piano lessons three times.

fun fact on Wednesday I'm gonna perform a dance and song at the Royal [county] Show where there will in fact be a member of the royal family! it's a huge event and there's no chance they'll see me but still it's fun

I have a birthmark at the inner side of my left eyebrow. I’ve also worked under a world famous conductor before which is pretty damn cool

okay um. fun fact. ???? i have two scars on my bottom lip from falling down the stairs when i was three, but you can only see them when i smile. also im a secret former theatre nerd. you can take the kid from theatre but you cant take the theatre out of the kid. or... something.

okay fun fact! im double jointed at the shoulders so i can twist them all the way back. like 360 degrees. also i dont think many people know im korean. god it was SO DIFFICULT to resist adding “english is not my first language” to my ao3 notes but im better at english anyway. unfortunately :(

(this is me 100% somebody just buy me a hamilton shirt) SPEAKING of hamilton my fun fact is ive been a hamilton fan since i was 8 ... now im not sure what that says about me but when your immigrant mom wants you to remember where you were born (IN THE GREATEST CITY IN THE WOOOOORLDDDDDD (belts)) you end up watching lin manuel miranda getting it on on stage and asking why king george wanted to 'kill your friends and family' because that meant killing everyb (caaaaalm down 9 yr old einstein).

1) Sentence Patterning 🎨

Print off a random page of your work and use different coloured highlighters on each sentence depending on how long they are. You might notice you’ve been stuck in a rhythm without realising it. A rainbow is what you want to see!

2) Stickynoting! 📝

Write out each scene (or topic change) on a stickynote thats colour indicates how plotheavy it is. A few fluffy, relaxed scenes are fine, but you don’t want half the book to be pointless. Likewise, you also don't want every scene to be insanely over the top.

3) Pindropping 📌

Draw a line, mark out the major events of your story, then drop in every revelation, character introduction, first mention, shift and development. See how dense certain areas might be vs others. Do you throw everything at the reader in the first chapter? Or do you hold back too much and leave your audience clueless.
