this is what the intersection of capitalism and misogyny looks like–fashion and beauty products are being marketed to females no matter their age as long as is generates profit and feeds the male gaze.

1) Their Teenagers not children. There is a difference, teenagers are at an age where they will start experimenting and finding clothes they like and don’t like. It’s not a point of fitting in, it’s finding a style that you prefer. As a teenager myself I get this, I have friend who dress more like the first girl in the image; However, this is just what they prefers they are one of the sweetest smartest people I know and they wear whatever they wants to. I have other friends who prefer T-shirt’s and jeans. It’s a preference their at this age where they will experiment and we should let them not put them down and blame clothes for sexualising teens. It’s not oppression to have tastes and I believe that’s something we need to understand.

2) I would also like to bring into the fact that most stores only have a children’s section and adult section, and by her age (14 as described) she is definitely not going to fit into the children’s section the majority of the time so their options are clothes whose demographic is adults. Some stores are aimed at teens and younge adults, but even then it will still have range and this range lets the teens choose what they want to wear.

There is nothing wrong with wearing what you want to wear and I hate how you guys are just telling these kids they can’t wear this because you think it’s sexualising. I know I can’t speak for everyone but what I can say is that the only thing affecting her clothing choice is what she wants to wear and money (because money has a big affect on people’s fashion surprisingly) I also want to state I hate this kind of meme, it’s so stupid and means nothing, things change and people are different and bashing that isn’t funny.

Okay, so I had this idea for an AU after seeing this post by @broadwaytheanimatedseries called One normal night and basically I was like OMG sanders sides as the Addams (mostly) also just note I’m basing this solely on the original play as it’s the only version I know also this is my first post on this blog so yeah.... if you have any ideas for this send then to me tag me that kinda thing also I wrote this all in one go so sorry if it’s not very good

Okay so hear me out... Patton as Gomez and Logan as Morticia I feel it works as Gomez are both goofy and tend to not take things to seriously while Morticia is like (this is the best way of putting it) the provider of the house and I feel this fits well.

The we have Roman as Lucas (can’t spell his last name so we’re not gonna try) and Virgil as Wednesday ... THIS JUST FIT PERFECTLY to me anyway just Wednesday’s fear of looking odd and that kind of thing and well Lucas... is just Lucas

Deciet is pugsley, I feel like this works due to pugsley love for torture (which is kinda Remus ish by hear me out) and his worry and annoyance that Wednesday is moving on which works as Virgil is a format darkside and you see where I’m going with this.

THEN we have fester.... Remus that’s all I have to say I mean festers in love with the moon, he’s insane he’s the fourth wall breaker it’s just works.

Okay.... well not perfect I’m thinking Remy as Alice and Emile as Mal, now I say Remy as Alice as if you’ve seen the play you may know that Alice has a subtle alcohol addiction and you know Remy and coffe so... there’s that also Remy is more or less commonly and fanninly flamboyant and Alice is very... yellow in her clothing type ALSO also she says poems basically to help with depression and I feel that kinda ties it all together (idk why it just makes some sort of sense)

Now... Mal and Emile... this is manly for convenience sake (cause shipping) but I’m thinking Emile the level headed one in the relationship and mal notices form the beginning that’s things are a little bit off (Emile being a therapist this kinda makes sense) but that’s as much as I can get for Mal and Emile sadly

Now I’m only missing Grandma Addams and Lurch... and I can’t think of anything at the moment so let me know if you do
