I've been a writing instructor (we're called instructors at my uni) all throughout graduate school and I just have to say that this blog is the most accurate blog ever created in the history of blogs. Also I get really pissed of when people expect my grammar and spelling to be perfect just because I teach writing. Writing is about so much more than that.

have you ever considered that students who find this blog might be deterred from visiting a writing center afterwards? consider what your posts are saying about the students we work with..I can't say I'd want to utilize a writing center after seeing that this is the type of stuff consultants say about the students they work with...

Grammar Mistakes

I don't think I would want to come to your writing center, the glaring mistake on this post about "when you're [wtf] boss comes in and tells you the writing center had 115 papers today. A new centre record!"
