The Romance Genre & What it Means to Love

Romance is a weird genre, right? You have so many different stories that can qualify under romance. You have your classics, of course, the straight forward romances like ‘The Notebook’ or ‘Romeo & Juliet’, then there are your specialized romances with combo-genres like ‘The Princess Bride’ or even ‘Romeo & Juliet’ again. Then there’s your strangely problematic “Romances” like ‘50 Shades of Grey’…
