Right now, the submission window is closed as we are looking at publishing an issue every quarter, but essentially our submission requirements are detailed in the Submit page. Writerly is now open for submissions! From now through July 24th, please support us and send in your submissions! We are always looking to publish the most innovative and creative submissions from upcoming artists and writers.

This issue is a bit like potpourri: it's shiny, and it'll get everywhere. Basically, go crazy with it. We are accepting all art submissions, and any literary submissions under 1,000 words. And as part of our policy, every submission will receive a free critique. To protect everyone's privacy, creators and editors will be kept anonymous from each other.

We are very proud to introduce Writerly, a new online literary magazine created by teens to inspire and motivate writers with great stories and awesome resources. We'll also look into the literary world with book reviews, interviews, and more, as well as host contests to get your work known. This site will be the center of all activities, accepting submissions, posting current issues, and answering any questions about writing problems.

Our first quarterly issue is slated to be released this July. Until then, we'll be releasing snippets and sneak peeks of what will be included in the issue, as well as introducing the Writerly team and reblogging anything that suits our fancy. Thanks for stopping by, and write on!
