Here are some funny, less common and less functional time travel duos for fanfic writers to consider:
Ahsoka and Maul back to the Clone Wars (these two would get a lot done but confuse a lot of people while they're at it)
Dooku and Obi-wan (I've actually seen some of these, and they're really great) back to when Obi-Wan was a child OR right before TPM
Han and Anakin back to TCW (Father in law bonding, hellish edition)
Leia and Anakin back from the end of ROTJ to ANH (Father daughter bonding, hellish edition)
Piett and Vader from the end of ROTJ to ANH or ESB (Pray for Piett)
If I think of more I'll add them

So Naboo knew about Padmé and Anakin.
In the Vader comics a group of the rebels specifically loyal to Padmé attack Vader. They believe that Vader killed Padmé and at least suspect Vader killed Anakin either protecting Padmé or was in the temple during the attack.
One rebel, who was at the battle of Naboo, gets lightsabered right as he yells; âFor PadmĂ©!â And as he falls with his dying breath; âand for Anakin.â
Anakin must have been beloved by Naboo. He helped the queen get to coruscant to plead the senate, saved them during the battle, and has repeatedly saved PadmĂ©âs life.
PadmĂ©âs grave was also for Anakin and their children. So many people must have see her âpregnantâ at the funeral and only felt more heartbroken. Not only did their former queen and current senator die, so did her entire young family. Wife, husband, and child.
Behind some wall in Padmeâs grave is a hidden memorial for Anakin. Hero, Jedi, husband, father. A carving of Anakin holding his saber hilt looking asleep like PadmĂ©âs sarcophagus.
Pooja and Ryoo going to visit âAunt PadmĂ© and uncle Aniâ. Only remembering him through a carving.
One of the Naberries or Amidala handmaids showing Luke and Leia. Luke grateful to have some of his fatherâs legacy preserved alongside his mother. Leia is grateful for a place to mourn her mother and hero, and to know her maternal family.
Luke only going back to Tatooine retrieve something of Shmiâs and Obi-Wanâs to bring to Anakinâs memorial.
it genuinely melts my brain watching people take sith monologues at face value like theyâre TED talks instead of⊠you know⊠villain speeches.
like. these are not neutral historians. these are not unbiased narrators. these are men who wake up every morning and choose manipulation as a lifestyle.
and yet people hear palpatine whispering into anakinâs ear like âthe jedi are hiding things from you⊠they donât trust youâŠâ and go. wow. compelling. source: dude in a hood who has never told the truth once in his life.
HELLO???
of course heâs going to say that. what else is he supposed to do. sit anakin down and go âhi yes i am actively trying to emotionally isolate you from your support system so i can turn you into my apprentice and ruin your lifeâ like be serious đ
same with maul going âyouâve been indoctrinated by the jediâ as if HE wasnât raised in a sith pipeline since childhood. sir. that is not a revelation.
and dooku. walking around like a philosophy professor going âthe republic is corruptâ yeah okay, we know, and your solution is⊠fascism with extra lightning???
like yes. the jedi made mistakes. but, theyâre an institution, not a divine being. but the leap from âthe jedi arenât perfectâ to âthe sith are telling the truth actuallyâ is INSANE to me.
Nurture not nature:
Leia Organa is like her parents before her. She is cunning, intelligent, and rebellious at heart. Just like Breha and Bail Organa raised her to be.
Luke Skywalker is like his parents before him. He believes he can solve conflict by being kind. He believes in helping people who canât help themselves. He believes there is still good in the world but he is not blind to the corruption of it. Like his parents Owen and Beru Whitesun before him.
I was not allowed to watch cartoons as a kid and so as an adult I am going back and watching a lot of what was big when I was a kid, and most of the shows are like. Okay. I see why a kid would enjoy this, and I see why an adult who watched it as a kid would still enjoy it, but entering into it for the first time as an adult, there's nothing here for me. (Very occasionally we get one where I don't understand why anyone enjoys it.) However, Phineas and Ferb is kind of in a category all its own.
Most kids' media makes it for adults and kids both by having the bulk of the content be aimed at kids, with the occasional adult joke where the punchline is sex or mortgage interest rates to amuse the adults that the writers assume are being forced to watch this at gunpoint. Other schools of thought exist, such as what Studio Ghibli does where adults and children are more or less invited to enjoy the same content on the same level.
Phineas and Ferb has an element where the same joke or heartfelt moment would presumably affect a child and an adult, and in the same way, more or less, but being an adult adds an additional facet to it that is born of your own experience -- and your experience as a child is as relevant as your experience as an adult. I think it's a subcategory of something that some very good stories do which is meet the viewer/reader/player halfway, if that makes sense? Uh... laughing with you rather than inviting you to laugh at something it constructed itself? IDK it's very hard to articulate. Calvin & Hobbes and The Hobbit have similar qualities, if that helps

ooooo you wanna take a shower so bad
#''u r trying to brainwash me'' no. just to wash you.
The Organas and the Lars family are all well aware that the children theyâre raising each have a sibling somewhere in the far reaches of the galaxy. They can never say anything, since Luke and Leia would be in grave danger if the truth of their heritage were to get out, but sometimes the twinsâ adoptive families canât help but think about the other child that they will never know.
Breha notices her daughterâs title causes her to struggle with finding companions her own age and wonders if that loneliness might have been lessened had the twins never been separated. Sometimes, she imagines taking Leiaâs brother by the hand and introducing him to the people of Alderaan as a beloved member of the Organa family just like his sister.
Beru starts stitching a family tree -a tradition among slaves and former slaves on Tatooine, meant to bring together families that were separated by slavery- but struggles to finish it when she realizes itâs too dangerous to include her niece. After the war, Luke and Leia create their own, and Leia displays her connection to the Lars family line like a badge of honour.
Bail is always concerned about Lukeâs wellbeing somewhere in the back of his mind. The Lars family are supposed to be good, hardworking people, but even under Obi-Wanâs protection, Tatooine is a hostile place to live: especially compared to a temperate core world planet like Alderaan. Since he is unable to directly intervene so far out in Hutt Space, his contacts within the rebellion are occasionally tasked with checking in on the state of things in and around Tatooineâs settlements. On the occasions where Owen and Beru found themselves struggling to put food on the table, an off-world traveller would soon arrive offering to pay handsomely for something like mechanical help or a ride to Anchorhead.
Owen tries not to dwell on what-if scenarios and focus on keeping his nephew safe, but raising a force sensitive child -much less a force sensitive child of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala- is stressful on the best of days. When people in town murmur under their breath about how odd the Lars boy is, he worries. Both that the empire will take the whispering about Luke being odd seriously, and that the little girl Obi-Wan told them about when he arrived with baby Luke hidden under his cloak might be put in danger by those same whispers.
