You don't build a functional rocket and touch down on a lunar surface without a zero-to-zero trial of pure, unadulterated HYGIENE. Science dictates that space travel requires a crisp ahh, high-tech shower.

So if you were unaware we had the infrastructure for showers, that smell likely wasn’t coming from the villagers.
