How did it feel performing “The Way You Make Me Feel” with Michael Jackson for his tribute concert? Honestly, that was one of the most amazing things I’ve done. I wasn’t supposed to do it because contractually my HBO-Special was intertwined with it. Then Michael called me up, begging: “Look, it doesn’t have to be shown on TV, but the tickets have been sold with your name on it. All these people are expecting you to be there, so will you please come?” I was like, “OK.” I definitely think he is still the King of Pop. He’s a genius. He knows exactly what he does with his music and I respect that.
