Transmission died dude. Needs a total rebuild.

Mechanic guy was super helpful w/ info but he had to just pass me on the jeep dealership. AAA towed the car over there.

Trying to deal w/ Chrysler’s roadside towing service was A NIGHTMARE. Those dudes have no clue how to run a customer service shop.

They call from an outbound-only number, so you can’t even call the person back when you talk to them. Gotta start all over from the main menu number. Explain the whole thing again. Press 1 for that, 2 for this... FFUUUUU

Both our cars are in trouble today. Perfect timing, too. I’m supposed to drive to my parents house (about an hour) tomorrow and now I’m not sure how.

We took the Corolla to the auto repair place, just down the street here in Ashburnham. The guy that owns it is a family friend, so I know he’ll take good care of us.

But like an hour after dropping it off—and we had been driving the Jeep around in the meantime—the Jeep starts making a terrible noise that sounds like a robot. And it won’t shift out of first gear.

So we went back to the auto place and switched out the cars. Took the Corolla home—2 of us and the 2 kids and their bulky car seats—and left the Jeep.

Now how am I supposed to drive back home tomorrow? I can’t strand the wife and kids. Not sure how to handle that.

Worcester's history is a storied one. It started in the 1600s when English settlers ran into some Indians in the community they called Quinsigamond.

By the end of the 1600s, a war broke out in New England and the Nipmuc Indians, who had been inhabiting the area, came to the aid of the English settlers, under their Indian leader King Philip. (King Philip is an adopted or English name for Native American chief named Metacomet.)

Worcester has come along way since the 1600s and the Nipmuc Indians aiding English settlers.

Anyone who has spent time in Massachusetts can tell you that Worcester kinda sucks. It’s small, hilly, and run-down. Not much goes on here.

Did you know the city was completely abandoned TWICE? That’s what wikipedia says, anyway.
