- consciously take deeper breaths and recognise unhelpful thoughts
- notice and appreciate what no one else notices.
- carry a journal everywhere to record little thoughts, drawings, tickets and memories
- stop searching for proof that you’re good enough. you are already good enough and loveable, you always have been.
- remember what you’re excited for if you’re feeling sad. it can be something small.
- if you compare yourself to others often, change your mindset. you will rarely feel good if you continue with that mindset.
- it’s ok if you’re not where you want to be. take a moment to see how far you’ve come from a year ago.
- don’t spend the day wishing things could be different. trust that everything happens for a reason. trust the timing of things. there are bright things in the future waiting for you.
- be candid in everything you do. don’t live life through someone else’s eyes.
- know that when one door closes, another opens. always be hopeful.
- you have a lot more time than you think. the world seems fast paced but you don’t need to be.
- be genuine to yourself. don’t pretend to be someone else. the right people will find you. the right path will find you
- don’t bottle up your emotions. don’t numb yourself. know what you’re feeling and let it out.
- treat every day like a new beginning. it doesn’t matter how many times you failed. failing means you’re trying.
- rest when you need to. overworking yourself isn’t worth it.
- just because you’re not where you want to be doesn’t mean you’re not amazing.
- do your best today. everything will work out in its own way.
