I had a sudden thought, this really does bring a whole new meaning upon the concept of being friends till death.

I mean, a major theme in the songs that san listens to is being with someone forever, till death, for eternity... and that’s basically the meaning of amicus ad aras. I just think it’s so endearing, they deserve the best.

Stop because I’m never gonna shut up about this!!!!!!!!!! So many of the songs he’s recommended have been kinda slow/ballads... I see you~~

I’m surprised no one has talked about the fact that both Wooyoung and San have recommended “Heaven” by Troye Sivan before..... I’m not sure about when they recommended the song or like if they recommended it together during a live or something...if you know please let me know !

I do know though that Yeosang is a fan of Troye Sivan and that Wooyoung probabllyyy listens to Troye because Yeosang likes him but even then... I’m a little bit sus... 

Sooo Wooyoung has mentioned liking “What A Heavenly Way To Die”, “Lucky Strike” and “Heaven” and San has mentioned liking “Strawberries & Cigarettes”, “Youth”(he did a small cover), “There for you” and “Heaven”. Obviously this doesn’t have to mean anything, but I’m just curious because Troye’s music has always been a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community..

I personally lovvveeee Troye’s lyrics for Heaven (the music video too), Strawberries & cigarettes (which was on the soundtrack for the movie Love, Simon), and Lucky strike, here are some of the lyrics!

So as promised here’s part 2 of analyzing the songs san has recommended in the past as he himself said he pays close attention to the lyrics of a song~ The songs I’ll be pointing out are:

Mattress - 10cm

Let us go - crush

I.f.l.y - bazzi

So let us start with mattress. So this one to me is the most sus one... I mean like I said san is probably literally married with 3 kids LOL but yeah so basically the whole song screams woosan to me just because of how clingy they are with one another, we’ve seen woo move to sleep beside san before even when they were supposed to sleep in different rooms like hello? We’ve also heard they are even clingier in the dorms sooo,, yea, the lyrics are as follows:

Let us go by crush also felt kinda sus to me, I swear..maybe it’s just me projecting but I feel like san really feels what these songs are saying you know what I mean? What’s your take? Anyway, these lyrics, to me, really show how much san appreciates woo, like he doesn’t want their friendship to end...ever, maybe he thinks “all these days can’t be eternal”

The last song that caught my attention was ifly by bazzi. Now this one was the least sus one in my opinion, but I still think it’s really cute. The song is in English so give it a listen if you haven’t already but I just think it’s sweet how san recommended it, maybe the lyrics apply to him👁👁

Anyways, like I said in the previous post, san for a fact is married and has 3 kids...

No but for real, all jokes aside, I feel like this is a good reminder that san is a real person with real feelings and that we need to respect boundaries as fans (don’t forget that <3). I feel like it also shows that he probably does have a lot going on in his head and stuff so let’s do our best to always support him!!!

You know what they say, music is one of the best ways to get to know someone so I just thought I’d share what I saw! Maybe you folks might interpret the songs differently than me so do let me know what you think!!!

so I was casually listening to songs san recommended during his lives and stuff and came across interesting ...stuff..

so we all know san is a cancer sun and leo venus right? Well so am I and I’ve come to notice that san and I have similar personalities So *clears throat* I think I can speak on this (aha ha jkjk). Idk if it’s just me but when I look for sad songs or any kind of song in general, I like songs that apply to me and my situation. So oo perhaps looking into the songs san recommended might give us an insight on him as an individual. Once again, take all of this with a grain of salt because obviously it’s just for fun and games and pure speculation!

**update** he actually said it himself in a vlive “when I listen to a song, I pay close attention to the lyrics, I think lyrics are important” : )

Okay so what did I find?

Nothing crazy I just noticed a lot of songs were love songs and just like ballads with the exception of like nct, exo, etc lol. Here are a few songs he’s recommended so far that stood out to me:

So I searched up and read the lyrics for most of the song he mentioned (others not on this list) and I guess my brain made connections on its own so here I am, but of course take everything with a grain of salt!

Anyways, Youth is a super popular song but I feel like it applies to woosan nicely, they’ve been through so much together and their whole amicus ad aras thing also fits with the song. It’s like woosan’s youth belongs to each other and it’s very touching (at least to me) that san recommend this song, like we get it ur besties with woo okay let’s move on with the show🙄

I think bye bye my blue is such a nice song, I can’t blame san for liking it. I feel like maybe san relates to the lyrics, or maybe he simply likes the melody but yeah it’s just so sweet and cute to me :(. The “just calling your name makes my heart full” really does remind me of san and the way you can tell he’s at his best when he’s with woo...The lyrics are as follows:

Moving on to Yeosu Night Sea, I listened to it for the first time and really enjoyed it, once again san *chefs kiss* amazing music taste. Something about the lyrics reminds me of san and woo’s relationship like they always talk about how “oh ___ likes this” or stuff like that, constantly thinking about the one another, always hanging around each other. Obviously they literally could just be best friends and nothing more but I’m just sayingggg. “I want to let you hear it so I call you - you ask what I’m doing” to me this part stood out...

Literally either san is married and has 3 kids or he’s still not over his one sided crush from like 10 years ago or something, who hurt u san!!
