I mean it’s an old cover but still it’s “something”. It’s a pity that Maria didn’t appear (she infilrated some place last chapter or something?) though. 

I think the story is reaching its final stages so I hope both get to do something ( Takuma, at least get out of your neet cave)

Well let’s be honest, the entire second half was very weak. It felt like the characters were running around and nothing was accomplished until Kaname ousted himself from the picture.It would be great if Sara was a more threatening and cunning villain (because just like Kaname the o great chessmaster she was all talk). The subplot about the blood tablets being “poisoned” with Sara’s blood  was nice, the writer could expand much more on it since there was no guarantee this couldn’t happen again. Imagine if some pureblood handed offbrand blood tablets with their bloods. It was a very serious danger that could get all vampires hunted and Yuuki just healed some people, ichijou made a report and they called it a day.

Ideally Yuuki gets none of her boytoys because this little girl doesn’t deserve it (she’s also a shit mom btw). but since she has to get one I’d say Zero. Yuuki convinces Kaname to drop his suicidal tendencies and to slowly get his life in order. He steps down from his position and continues the research he left incomplete. No furnace shutdown, no pregnancy bs, have Kaname slowly learning to love himself. Since zeki was the most popular ship ad kaname was the most popular character in japan, nobody would complain here.. too much.

Is it just me or do the vampires have no pride in this manga? They can’t feed on humans, rely almost entirely on artificial blood, are closely monitored by the hunters, and now the smart yuuki is reassuring her (relatively) young daughter, telling her that if Aidou completes his research, she’ll finally lose her immortality and live happily with her sister? What? Is she indirectly telling her that life as a purelood sucks at this age? that she won’t be happy with her sister until she stops being a vampire?

I don’t know, I mean, humans' fear is understandable, but I feel that the vampires bow their heads a little too much, it’s really frustrating, you’re supposed to be some scary and dignified creatures of the night, no wonder some vampires don’t like Yuuki that much, especially since she’s dating a hunter.

Despite being in an official relationship with Kaname, she kept being intimate with another man. Kaname was aware of it and told her it was okay, which pretty much gave her a free pass (gave the author one too to keep zeki and yume fans around). When Kaname killed Aidou’s father and escaped she chased after him and … got to dance with Zero in a masked ball and kissed him.

That’s not called loving two persons anymore, it’s cheating, and of course Kaname witnessed that, then she went and slept with him after this, keeping him in check.

After Kaname was out of the picture, the second guy came in and had to stay by her side for 70 years before she finally accepted to officially get with him. He confessed to her but because she liked the other guy too she let him wait, she didn’t reject him, just let him wait, that’s totally stringing someone alongand he did just that, he fed her in her pregnancy years and raised her daughter (she literally calls him otou-san). Also giving blood to someone is a very intimate act for vampires so she wasn’t feeding him just because he was a level E vampire.

My point is that Yuuki wasn’t mature enough for a relationship and by loving two men, choosing one and sending mixed signals to another, both men suffered but kept chasing her, so it is stringing them along. Some may disagree with me and that’s totally fine because everyone has their biases and different point of views.

Also I don’t think she’ll be reunited with Kaname. It would be hilarious in a way but come on, let Zero have his waifu in the end. I suppose she killed herself to make Kaname human, so a part of her is inside him but he can’t get her out. There’s no way she reincarnated too but who knows?

Umi bouzu guy wasn’t the scary monster they all thought him to be and all but where is iiit? Japan can’t blueball us after episode 20 right, right? 

Well it just did. It’s a typical read the light novels and find out what what happens next! but it’s okay,the last episode had some emotional moments and a happy end, have a cute last chibi.

And it was contrived. They could break a water pipe and not let her interfere at all, or at least help restrain the monster while she summons something to counter its fire, instead they just stand dumbly and watch. 

and the super vampire who survived a steel beam to the heart had to be rescued TWICE in the same episode, what are you doing man? Your girl’s hair is becoming red again!
