Water Research Strategy Meeting
Weak and stable waves don't affect mussel replica in three different poses, but strong wave makes different results for three different poses of mussel replica. In the first case, the mussel replica with the Byssus is strongly fixed in strong waves. Secondly, when the shell of mussels is closed, they were relatively stable. However, when the shell of mussel is open, it seems to be strongly affected by strong waves.

Task 1B - Material Testing Prototype
Testing of a Form which is called (Suntuf acc infill)
The form will light, flexible and dense in the ocean. This material gives the new possibility as a part of the protective cast. When this material is attached on the surface of the adult blue mussel, the starfish will have difficulties to stick and eat to the blue mussel. The problem with this material is that this material is made with chemical reaction and it takes a long time to decay on the ocean... However, this material can be used as a little part of the protective cast to minimize the weight of the protective cast.
