I remember how rare it used to be for a kid to die. I remember how we had one kid die in a car accident in my high school class: one in a decade. The school literally shut down for three days for a long weekend. It wasn't normal. It wasn't average. It was a big deal. Now in an average school system there are two or three dying of illness every year, and our government wants you to believe we're all "#BacktoNormal." I'm so tired of reading news reports about 11-year-olds dying of cardiac failure. I'm so tired of reading news reports about 15-year-olds dying of illness. I'm so tired of reading news reports about 21-year-olds having strokes. I'm so tired of people pretending like this is normal and there is no reason to avoid covid infections. Now it's business as usual when kids die. It's normal. It's average. It's no big deal.

Please mask up. Keep kids safe.

People keep vaguing that I'm some super-rich person because of this experience but, y'all, my hometown is populated by majority new immigrants. when I was in high school, 51% of the town spoke a language besides English as their primary language. We're an agricultural processing town in a rural state. Idk what else to say besides not everyone is from California or NYC and not having those specific experiences doesn't mean I went to expensive catholic boarding school or whatever.

Maybe I'm just a little bit too spicy about this right now, but we shouldn't be playing "I had a worse childhood than you, stranger-I-don't-know-and-will-likely-never-meet" on a post about the rising rates of deaths from strokes and heart attacks in 4th graders, should we?

okay so figuring stuff out with insurance when youre not insured is a Nightmare, that's another fun fact for y'all :)! we gotta replace the tv, soundbar, lighting, and subwoofer, but luckily everything else is intact (barring water damage from the firefighting) and nobody got hurt 🙏

Ignoring ongoing covid paved the way for this change and put millions more in worse danger because of it. Mask up. Keep people developing debilitating long-term illness the government wants you to die from.

Where's that person who said I was fear mongering and actually they were an expert who's helped people keep their disability because they were completely overlooking this point that I assumed was clear because I might know just a bit more about gov't assistance than the average person. This will kill people. This will force disabled people out of their homes. This will take people who are barely surviving and make it so they can't survive at all and that's the point.

I don't know whether I should say this or not. These may be my last words or the last time I write a post, so I will forgive anyone who sees this post and supports me and doesn't ignore me.

I write these words in great pain, my eyes brimming with tears due to the severe infections in my wounds. The delay in my treatment and my inability to travel have left me unable to bear this situation any longer. I am exhausted by the pain of my injury, the severe anemia, and the exorbitant cost of the medications I need.

All I care about is stopping these frequent fainting spells and the constant pain I suffer. Please help me to buy my medication so I can recover quickly and return to my normal life, and to save myself and my entire family.
