Plane painting! I've drawn on the plane before, but never painted. I thought I'd test out my awesome new Koi watercolor set from @sakuraofamerica at the same time. It was a short flight from Seattle back to the bay area here is California, but I decided to do a quick painting of the cloudscape out the window. Maybe it was just because it was my first time plane painting, but it's hard! I never thought about how MUCH the plane moves. My hand was vibrating and my paint kept running, but it was fun and this set is wonderful. Schoolism was awesome! If you've not heard of them, you should definitely look them up. I took so many notes and tried to absorb as much info as I could. Sessions went from 9am to 6:30pm and were taught by an amazing group of artists. Subjects ranged from Character design, sculpting, painting, color and light, and with lots of q&a. If you're unable to make it to a live session, they have online classes. Thank you to everyone who worked to put it together. I know you guys worked hard and we're so friendly.
