As a Jewish person, I felt really seen in this show. I saw myself in the half-Jewish-confusion of Hannah, the discovering of what the culture means to me through Kendra, the pain of love and change from Shira, the Avi who thought it was easier to move past what could keep me so connected to my ancestry. I wish I had the words to properly express what this show did for me emotionally. It’s a show that really reminds you that Jewishness is much more than a religion. It is a culture, a way of life, and a system of values that bring us closer together as people. I love being Jewish. I love getting every joke in this show!! Ok ramble over, I don’t know what I’m saying atp HAHA EVERYBODY WATCH THIS SHOW
