Poetry And Poor Oratory

As i look back over my life, those simple, light hearted days are not the ones for which i’m most grateful. I’m most grateful for the days when I’ve had to fight for faith. The days I’ve called out to God in desperation and pain. The days i have barely survived, struggled to make it through, wondered if life was worth it, after all. The days that have driven me to my knees. These have molded my character, grown my dependence and made me see Jesus.

Who except God can give you peace? Has the world ever been able to satisfy the heart?

This pain is not to make you sad, remember. Thats where people go on missing. This pain is just to make you more alert–because people become alert only when the arrow goes deep into their heart and wounds them.

Do not allow for words of hate, fear, and belittlement to touch your heart. Keep it safe from harm, and allow for it to hear only words of kindness, compassion, and care.

To teach is not to force one’s own opinion or knowledge onto another, but to share with the world what it is that you know. Some may listen, and some may not. Regardless, express the knowledge that you bring to this earth. Show your wisdom. Speak your intellect.

Many people have come and left, and it has been always good because they emptied some space for better people. It is a strange experience, that those who have left me have always left places for a better quality of people.
