The first system to go down was the mobility servos in the spine, then the left recoilless rifle, and finally the external sensor battery. Closing with the mech and dodging its secondary defenses wasn't easy, but with the APS blinded it wouldn't be too hard to finish them off with a couple RPGs. And once she was at the cockpit, it was a simple breach-and-extract operation, something the combat doll had intimate familiarity with. Placing the thermite to burn through the latch, kicking the pistol out of the pilot's hand with incredible swiftness, and deactivating the mech's self destruct sequence wasn't trivial, but it was over quickly. Holding her there, the doll began grinning ear to ear. Blood and stray stimulant liquid dripping from its ceramic digits, its synthetic muscle rising and falling from the exhaustion, causing its ballistic plates to shift in turn. The look of shock and stimulant withdrawal on the pilot's face, the fear in her eyes, the look of failure was far too satisfying. And as the doll stood there, in satisfaction, its mask's diaphragm let out a smug, electrified: "You're Mine, hound"

And when Her hounds return, covered in the mud and the blood and the putrid guts of their foes, it is Her who has them bathed, cleaned, and then sent to the rear. It is Her who makes sure they know exactly what they are. It is Her who brings new sisters to share in the thrill of battle with. And they never bother to question why those new sisters look suspiciously like their old comrades from before Her. She knows best, after all....
