Hello everyone, been a while. Today marks the 19th appniversaru of Sly 3 honor among thieves. Today is also my birthday and I figured what better to upload than another reference sheet for my fan comic of The Murray! Everyone’s favorite slab of muscle with a heart of gold! Here I think is where you’ll start to see a change in direction from what my fanredux of thieves in time is doing to start a bit from the og thieves in time game. I never liked how in the game Murray was made almost comically obese with such puny arms and legs, I thought it undermined his more physically greater features, so for my fan comic I’m drawing Murray to look a bit more like a strongman. Also something I won’t be doing is try to give Murray a character arc. My reason being he already had a fantastic character arc fulfilled by 3 games. I felt it unnecessary to have him go through that in thieves in time since it was just used to give Murray something to do for maybe 10 minutes. Sometimes a character doesn’t need to go through something deep, and I felt thieves in time did more so a disservice to Murray and the others by artificially causing drama for the sake of it instead of it being natural.
