you are not a marketing bloc, friend, you are a real alive human being with a variety of interests, activities, hobbies, jobs, friends, and other factors that make up the parts of you that make life worth living! it is actually totally normal to like many disparate things, in fact it's good for many people! while it would be easier to advertise to people if they fell nearly into tiny boxes, that is not how real life has to work. i find myself increasingly worried by all the "woah you like [perceived academic topic] and [seemingly not academic topic] one of of these must not be true!" or "wow they like two unrelated topics! that's crazy talk for only geniuses!"
let's not limit ourselves! real life humans are not fictional characters whose interests are limited for narrative purposes, nor are we perfect consumers of good who exist so an algorithm can easily send us ads! don't box yourself or others in like that, it makes life smaller and sadder and much less interesting...
who gives a fuck about twink death, around 30 most people develop an ass and thighs and start to look hot as fuck, keep going, never give up!!!

i really think people do not give themselves nearly enough credit for what they can achieve. you know literally anyone is capable of learning new languages or researching their interests. when you see someone else doing that you shouldn't put them on a pedestal or feel disheartened cos you didn't do it yet, you should feel inspired to expand your own knowledge! like i understand we have different limiting factors that can make it more or less difficult to do so, but we can all do it. if you want to know more about something you can hit google scholar or anna's archive or jstor or the library... like i promise you can learn about anything if you want! you don't even have to go to a university to do it! it's really good to be curious and to follow that curiosity and learn more!
