I get the feeling this is actually for @mantafurr since it came in after I reblogged a pic of theirs but hey I'll meet you half way just in case

I dunno I feel like it's typical ai bro stuff to get upset when someone tells them to actually draw or hire an artist but it often really is as simple as you lose any respect anyone could've had for you if you're using AI art when you could draw something yourself even if it's bad and it feels like you actually care and you get respect from that.

Like if you're making a webcomic that is supposed to get a message across it comes off as extremely lazy and like you actually don't care. I know we live in a world where people's minds are literally being rotted by generative AI and llms and it's so depressing seeing what it's done to people and what it's made acceptable.
