One night a hungry wolf was on the hunt for something to eat

When met a well fed house dog

The dog was strong, but comfortable, never missed a meal

The wolf was thin, scarred by the wild, always chasing his next meal.

The dog offered the wolf food, shelter and an easy life if he left the woods and followed his example

The wolf saw how good life could be

He almost agreed to leave the woods and go with the dog

Until the wolf noticed the hair on the dog's neck was worn and its skin scarred and chafed…

A leash!

And in that moment, the wolf understood

The cost of a full stomach can be your freedom

A comfortable life can come with invisible bars

So the wolf turned back toward the darkness, toward the struggle, toward the hunger, toward the unknown
