*Spinner had fallen back asleep after their little conversation with Adonis, leaned up against Goldie's side, clinging to their arm and holding their hand like they usually did. They occasionally squeaked in their sleep, though it sounded more like a snore. A very squeaky snore.*

*They stayed asleep for a bit longer before eventually stirring, yawning squeakily and giving Goldie's arm a hug as well as a few nuzzles.*

"g-gooh waring.." *They said groggily, rubbing their eyes as their wings started to chitter.*

"w...w-whay l..auh?" *They asked, confused.*

"Sorry...just your voice. It sounds a bit different," Goldie said, "Maybe because you are sleepy...?"

*They blinked groggily.* "w..wuh...."

"It sounds kind of like this," said Goldie before trying to imitate what they sounded like. Thanks to the robotic tinge to their voice, it just sounded like they had severe mispronunciation issues.

*Spinner giggled, a small smile creeping onto their face.* "Y-you swound s-siwwy..."

*They yawned again, snuggling closer to them.* "h-hab good sleep?"

"ou nu.... why until n-now?" *They asked with a frown.*

*Their frown deepened and they gave Goldie a tight hug.* "am sorries..."

*Their wings chittered,* "T-thas good! Had best s-sleebies too!"

*Spinner thought for a few moments, then shrugged.* "I c-can't tink of anyting...."

"It is okay! We do not have to do anything," said Goldie, "We can just stay here too if you want!"

*They let out a small squeak, staring at the ground for a moment before looking up at Goldie.* "What y-you wanna do?"

"o-okey!" *They said with a smile.* "I d-don't mind going to e-either place!"

“Okay!” Goldie said brightly, “Want me to carry you or do you want to walk?”

*They did grabby hands at them,* "Carry p-ples!"

“Got it!” Goldie said with a giggle, scooping Spinner up and plopping them onto their shoulders. They stood up, then began to walk towards the right—it seems like they were headed for the ‘plant place’; the woods.

*Spinner giggled as well as they got picked up, holding onto Goldie's horns while their wings chittered happily.* "W-Whee!"

Goldie kept walking, smiling widely all the while. It didn’t take them long to reach the next area, where they were both quickly greeted by the sight of greenery and the pond that was located right in front of the entrance. Today, the Pond Skippers seemed to be absent.

*They looked out at the area in awe like they usually would do, bouncing a little in their spot excitedly. They then noticed that the Pond Skippers were gone, tilting their head a little.* "Where the l-little guys?"

"i hope so...." *They replied with a small frown, staring at the lake.* "where w-we go nows?"

“Just…around, I think? Not sure what we are doing yet, but maybe we can figure something out when we reach a specific spot!” Goldie said as they continued to walk.

"o-okey!" *They said, resting their head in between Goldie's horns.*

*Spinner tilted their head.* “w-wha dat?”

*They seemed confused.* "w-what a "game"?"

“A game is…something we can do, but it has a bunch of rules. It is supposed to be fun, though!” Goldie answered patiently.

"ooouuuuuu..... d-dat sound like fun! though the c-chasing game sounds scary..."

"oou... yeh!" *Spinner nodded, bouncing a little as their wings chittered.* "D-dat sound fun!"

"I can g-go on ground!" *They replied, carefully climbing down, now standing on the ground. They took Goldie's hand and dragged them over to the flowers happily.*

Goldie followed them enthusiastically. As soon as they were right next to the flowers, they immediately started to look for the nicest ones to pick.

*They began to look as well, bouncing up and down on their feet excitedly as their wing's chitters never ceased.*

*They looked over at the flower,* "woohhhhh..." *They said in awe.* "Is very prebby!!!"

“It is, is it not? Let us look for more!” Goldie said with a bright smile, holding on to the first flower before looking for more.

"okey!" *They continued their search for a pretty flower, just as they were about to reach for one it moved. Spinner flinched heavily and let out a startled squeak, stumbling back and falling over on their behind. What seemed like a head peeked out from the petals of the flower that Spinner had reached for, and they scrambled back away from it in fear.*

“Huh? Spinner, what happened?!” Goldie exclaimed in alarm, quickly hurrying over to them.

*They pointed at the flower shakily that actually turned out to be a small bug that was now staring at them curiously.* "i-i-i-i-i-it mm-m-mm-m-moveeeddddd.."

*They let out a small squeaky whine, frowning deeply.* "i-i-it r-r-really s-s-s-cc-c-cared mm-me... :c"

“I am sorry about not warning you about them earlier…” Goldie said guiltily, “It is pretty scary to see a flower move on its own! If it helps, try not touching the flowers that look closed? Those are usually what the flower-bugs look like when they are pretending.”

"o-okey..." *They slowly stood up, stepping closer to Goldie and clinging to their arm.*

"y-yis p-ples..." *They replied with a nod, giving Goldie's arm a squeeze.*

“Okay. Come on,” Goldie said gently, then slowly started to walk again, in search of more flowers to pick.

*Spinner stayed right by Goldie's side the whole time, opting to looking for a flower from afar. They soon spotted one that caught their eye and pointed at it.* "d-dat one look really prebby!"

"where-?" *They looked around for a moment before spotting the large flower, staring at it with big ol eyes in awe.* "wohhhhh...."

*Spinner flinched heavily and squeaked again, they scampered up to Goldie once they landed, very, very worried.* "G-GOLDIE!!! A-are you okey??????"

“Actually, it did hurt quite a bit,” Goldie said as soon as they managed to calm down from laughing, “But I am okay!”

*They let out a worried, squeaky whine, frowning deeply.* "o-otay... maybe w-we should stops l-looking for flowers... t-they becoming m-meanies nows...."

*They took the flower, their wings begining to chitter once more as they smiled.* "yeh!!" *They sat down beside Goldie in the bush, not really caring if it looked a bit silly.* "We b-both got prebby flowers n-now!"

“We do!” Goldie smiled, “I kind of wish we got more…imagine how pretty a whole bunch of them would be!”

"yeh..... t-think we got p-prebbiest ones! Especially y-yours! Yours very prebby!"

“No, I think yours is prettier. Your flower’s petals are bigger and whiter!”

"Nuh-uh!!" *They protested, giggling.*

"Yes-huh!" Goldie retorted, giggling as well, holding their flower next to Spinner's for a better comparison, "See?"

*Spinner gently grabbed Goldie's flower and swapped it with their own.* "Now y-you have prebbiest flower!"

"What? You did not have to do that; it is your pretty flower!" Goldie exclaimed, quickly swapping the flowers again.

*They giggled, holding up their flower to Goldie. They didn't want to force them, but they didn't want them to have the "prettiest flower".* "You g-get prebbiest flower!"

"You get the prettiest flower!" Goldie retorted again while laughing, gently nudging it back to them.

"Nuh-uh!!" *They protested, laughing.* "You get p-prebbiest flower because y-you the bestest!!"

"I am the bestest? No, you are the bestest!" Goldie retaliated, still laughing.

"Hehehe! We're b-both the bestest!" *They concluded, giving Goldie a hug.*

"I guess we are!" Goldie conceded at last, hugging Spinner in return. They leaned down to affectionately nuzzle the top of their head a few times.

“What are you doing?” Goldie asked confusedly, turning to face them and looking at the spots they had brushed.

"Y-you got lots of thingies from t-the meanie flower.." *They responded,* "Cant reach rest o-of them :c"

"Okey!!" *They stayed close to Goldie's side, also ready to go.*

Goldie took their hand, squeezing it gently. With that, they started walking back to Bellhart, now with two pretty flowers in tow.

"g-gooh waring.." *They said groggily, rubbing their eyes as their wings started to chitter.*

"w...w-whay l..auh?" *They asked, confused.*

"Sorry...just your voice. It sounds a bit different," Goldie said, "Maybe because you are sleepy...?"

*They blinked groggily.* "w..wuh...."

"It sounds kind of like this," said Goldie before trying to imitate what they sounded like. Thanks to the robotic tinge to their voice, it just sounded like they had severe mispronunciation issues.

*Spinner giggled, a small smile creeping onto their face.* "Y-you swound s-siwwy..."

*They yawned again, snuggling closer to them.* "h-hab good sleep?"

"ou nu.... why until n-now?" *They asked with a frown.*

*Their frown deepened and they gave Goldie a tight hug.* "am sorries..."

*Their wings chittered,* "T-thas good! Had best s-sleebies too!"

*Spinner thought for a few moments, then shrugged.* "I c-can't tink of anyting...."

"It is okay! We do not have to do anything," said Goldie, "We can just stay here too if you want!"

*They let out a small squeak, staring at the ground for a moment before looking up at Goldie.* "What y-you wanna do?"

"o-okey!" *They said with a smile.* "I d-don't mind going to e-either place!"

“Okay!” Goldie said brightly, “Want me to carry you or do you want to walk?”

*They did grabby hands at them,* "Carry p-ples!"

“Got it!” Goldie said with a giggle, scooping Spinner up and plopping them onto their shoulders. They stood up, then began to walk towards the right—it seems like they were headed for the ‘plant place’; the woods.

*Spinner giggled as well as they got picked up, holding onto Goldie's horns while their wings chittered happily.* "W-Whee!"

Goldie kept walking, smiling widely all the while. It didn’t take them long to reach the next area, where they were both quickly greeted by the sight of greenery and the pond that was located right in front of the entrance. Today, the Pond Skippers seemed to be absent.

*They looked out at the area in awe like they usually would do, bouncing a little in their spot excitedly. They then noticed that the Pond Skippers were gone, tilting their head a little.* "Where the l-little guys?"

"i hope so...." *They replied with a small frown, staring at the lake.* "where w-we go nows?"

“Just…around, I think? Not sure what we are doing yet, but maybe we can figure something out when we reach a specific spot!” Goldie said as they continued to walk.

"o-okey!" *They said, resting their head in between Goldie's horns.*

*Spinner tilted their head.* “w-wha dat?”

*They seemed confused.* "w-what a "game"?"

“A game is…something we can do, but it has a bunch of rules. It is supposed to be fun, though!” Goldie answered patiently.

"ooouuuuuu..... d-dat sound like fun! though the c-chasing game sounds scary..."

"oou... yeh!" *Spinner nodded, bouncing a little as their wings chittered.* "D-dat sound fun!"

"I can g-go on ground!" *They replied, carefully climbing down, now standing on the ground. They took Goldie's hand and dragged them over to the flowers happily.*

Goldie followed them enthusiastically. As soon as they were right next to the flowers, they immediately started to look for the nicest ones to pick.

*They began to look as well, bouncing up and down on their feet excitedly as their wing's chitters never ceased.*

*They looked over at the flower,* "woohhhhh..." *They said in awe.* "Is very prebby!!!"

“It is, is it not? Let us look for more!” Goldie said with a bright smile, holding on to the first flower before looking for more.

"okey!" *They continued their search for a pretty flower, just as they were about to reach for one it moved. Spinner flinched heavily and let out a startled squeak, stumbling back and falling over on their behind. What seemed like a head peeked out from the petals of the flower that Spinner had reached for, and they scrambled back away from it in fear.*

“Huh? Spinner, what happened?!” Goldie exclaimed in alarm, quickly hurrying over to them.

*They pointed at the flower shakily that actually turned out to be a small bug that was now staring at them curiously.* "i-i-i-i-i-it mm-m-mm-m-moveeeddddd.."

*They let out a small squeaky whine, frowning deeply.* "i-i-it r-r-really s-s-s-cc-c-cared mm-me... :c"

“I am sorry about not warning you about them earlier…” Goldie said guiltily, “It is pretty scary to see a flower move on its own! If it helps, try not touching the flowers that look closed? Those are usually what the flower-bugs look like when they are pretending.”

"o-okey..." *They slowly stood up, stepping closer to Goldie and clinging to their arm.*

"y-yis p-ples..." *They replied with a nod, giving Goldie's arm a squeeze.*

“Okay. Come on,” Goldie said gently, then slowly started to walk again, in search of more flowers to pick.

*Spinner stayed right by Goldie's side the whole time, opting to looking for a flower from afar. They soon spotted one that caught their eye and pointed at it.* "d-dat one look really prebby!"

*They smiled happily, their wings chittering again aa Goldie reached for it.* "I w-wanna see closer!!"

*They giggled, their smile widening.* "Hehe! Yay!!!" *They gently head-butted Goldie's arm affectionately, nuzzling them as well as their wings chittered loudly.*

"where-?" *They looked around for a moment before spotting the large flower, staring at it with big ol eyes in awe.* "wohhhhh...."

*Spinner flinched heavily and squeaked again, they scampered up to Goldie once they landed, very, very worried.* "G-GOLDIE!!! A-are you okey??????"

*They tilted their head as Goldie laughed, concerned.* "A-are you sure you're otay? That l-looked like it hurt lots....."

“Actually, it did hurt quite a bit,” Goldie said as soon as they managed to calm down from laughing, “But I am okay!”

*They let out a worried, squeaky whine, frowning deeply.* "o-otay... maybe w-we should stops l-looking for flowers... t-they becoming m-meanies nows...."

*They took the flower, their wings begining to chitter once more as they smiled.* "yeh!!" *They sat down beside Goldie in the bush, not really caring if it looked a bit silly.* "We b-both got prebby flowers n-now!"

“We do!” Goldie smiled, “I kind of wish we got more…imagine how pretty a whole bunch of them would be!”

"yeh..... t-think we got p-prebbiest ones! Especially y-yours! Yours very prebby!"

“No, I think yours is prettier. Your flower’s petals are bigger and whiter!”

"Nuh-uh!!" *They protested, giggling.*

"Yes-huh!" Goldie retorted, giggling as well, holding their flower next to Spinner's for a better comparison, "See?"

*Spinner gently grabbed Goldie's flower and swapped it with their own.* "Now y-you have prebbiest flower!"

"What? You did not have to do that; it is your pretty flower!" Goldie exclaimed, quickly swapping the flowers again.

*They giggled, holding up their flower to Goldie. They didn't want to force them, but they didn't want them to have the "prettiest flower".* "You g-get prebbiest flower!"

"You get the prettiest flower!" Goldie retorted again while laughing, gently nudging it back to them.

"Nuh-uh!!" *They protested, laughing.* "You get p-prebbiest flower because y-you the bestest!!"

"I am the bestest? No, you are the bestest!" Goldie retaliated, still laughing.

"Hehehe! We're b-both the bestest!" *They concluded, giving Goldie a hug.*

"I guess we are!" Goldie conceded at last, hugging Spinner in return. They leaned down to affectionately nuzzle the top of their head a few times.

*Spinner squeaked as they got nuzzled, their wings chittering wildly as they leaned into the nuzzles.*

*They giggled again, their antennae perking up a bit.* "Hehe, y-yeah! We share t-the prebbiest flower!"

"ouu...uhm..." *They thought for a moment,* "B-back to the bell town!"

“Okay!” said Goldie, getting up while tucking their flower into their pocket. They seemed to have forgotten they were still covered in petals and leaves from their sucker-punch episode.

*Spinner had fallen back asleep after their little conversation with Adonis, leaned up against Goldie's side, clinging to their arm and holding their hand like they usually did. They occasionally squeaked in their sleep, though it sounded more like a snore. A very squeaky snore.*

*They stayed asleep for a bit longer before eventually stirring, yawning squeakily and giving Goldie's arm a hug as well as a few nuzzles.*
