She leaned her head back against the headrest while she stared out at the pitch black of the dirt road. This was their first official date alone since they got together a few months back. They sat together silently while they listened to some quiet music. They were heading to one of Colby’s favorite explore spots. He was taking her to one of the abandoned hospitals he and Sam visted a few months back.
“You know if we weren’t best friends, this would’ve been a terrifying first date,” she let out. Colby chuckled while he adjusted his grip on the steering wheel.
“How’s this scary, we are just driving to an abandoned building at eleven at night, nothing terrifying at all,” Colby proceeded to tease as he rested his hand onto her thigh. He slowly pulled over off of the road slightly. He put the car into park as he turned his body to face her slightly. “We don’t have to go in, we can go do something el-”
“Colby, we grew up on this stuff, I wanna go,” she reached across and tapped her hand against her knees. He smiled widely.
“Okay, so the plan is we go south for a quarter of a mile, and then when we reach the burnt out street light. Then we take a left, we go down for a mile and then we will get in through one of the windows, we’ll figure it out when we get there.” Colby explained while Y/N stared blankly. Colby shook his head while laughing, “How about you follow me the whole way?” he offered. She nodded her head while leaning her body towards him. She pressed her lips against his softly before turning to head out of the car.
Colby quickly followed as he locked the door and put his keys into his pocket. They met together at the front of the car as they walked towards the dirted path together. They silently walked together. “There’s this really cool mural there that is nearly undamaged. I didn’t get any good photos of it last time. We can get some awesome Instagram pictures and stuff.” Colby rambled.
“Colby,” she let out nervously while she wrapped her arm around his as they continued to walk. He hummed while he interlocked his fingers with hers. “Why are you nervous,” she whispered while looking up into his eyes. She noted his red nose and his reddened cheeks. He chuckled while he ran his fingers through his hair.
“I am not nervous,” he explained while he bumped into her dramatically. She stumbled to the side while laughing. His eyes widened as he stablized her. “Okay, a little nervous.”
She raised her eyebrows, “We’ve hung out thousands of times like this, Colby, why are you so nervous?” She offered as they stopped still and faced each other. He smiled nervously while he looked down into her eyes.
“None of those times had the title of a date,” he offered while he slowly moved his hand onto her lower back. “I just want it to be perfect,” he expressed quietly. She pouted her lips as she tilted her head to the side.
She rested her hand on his cheek as she pulled his head towards her and kissed him softly. “It’ll be perfect because it’s us,” she whispered against his lips as she leaned in and kissed him again.
“I don’t know how perfect it’ll be, we could get arrested any minute,” he joked. She laughed and lightly hit him against the arm as she started walking again. “I’m kidding, we’ll be fine. Let’s hurry so we can see the mural!” he cheered as he ran up and took a hold of her hand. He started running with her towards the street light that was barely in the distance. She giggled while she tried to keep up with him.

“Are you okay if I push you up first, so then I can just hop in after you?” he questioned quietly. She took in a deep breath and nodded, “Okay, baby, when you’re ready,” he whispered as he took a hold on her hips.
“I got this,” she muttered as she began to jump up towards the window. Colby followed in pursuit as he helped lift her up as she jumped. “Oh hell yeah,” she whispered as she climbed inside the window and stared into the darkness. She took a deep breath before switching her gaze back outside the window. “Okay, Colby, please hurry up,” she let out while leaning her body out of the window. Colby chuckled as he double checked his pockets.
“I’m coming, Darling,” he jumped up and climbed into the building, a groan leaving his lips. He topiled over and fell onto the floor, all of the air leaving his chest.
“Baby, are you okay?” she leaned down and rested her hand onto his forehead while slowly brushing her hand through his hair. He blinked rapidly as he took a deep breath. He nodded as he stood up.
“I just overestimated my strength and jumping powers, I guess,” he exclaimed while he dusted off his pants. She rolled her eyes while she brushed off the dirt against his hoodie.
“Yeah, okay, let’s go,” she said while she took a hold of his hand. They cautiously walked through the first room, it was nearly pitch black other than the small beam of their flashlights. “Wow, creepy,” Y/N uttered quietly as she pointed the flashlight towards a run down sofa. There were several strange stains attached to the cushions alongside a ripped open pillow.
They proceeded to walk through the rest of the abandoned building. It was strangely peaceful and romantic. The moonlight was piercing through the broken windows. They walked side by side as they looked around the dirty walls and graffiti. “This is bringing me back to the warehouse, some of my favorite nights were spent there.”

They all sat together with their feet hanging over the edge. Nate and Alex were whispering to each other while they were scrolling through Vine. Sam and his girlfriend, Valrie were cuddling while they were talking about their future plans together. Y/N and Colby sat silently together while they swung their feet back and forth over the edge. Their legs were insync.
“Cannot believe we are leaving for California next weekend,” Y/N muttered while she leaned her head against Colby’s shoulder. He leaned his head against hers while he noticed the way their knees were delicately touching.
“It’s unbelievable, I never thought we would get the chance to go,” Colby explained while he stared down at his legs swinging. “I’m so glad you are coming with us,” he whispered. She lifted her head up and looked into his light blue eyes. The corners of her lips turned up slightly as she admired his features.
“Me too,” she smiled as she shifted her gaze towards his lips briefly before looking back up into his eyes.

They turned the corner and there was the gorgeous mural that Colby was obsessing over. She stopped short as she looked at the incredible painting of the Los Angeles skyline over the coast. It was more dirty than the last time Colby saw it, but it was still as beautiful as before. “You were right, this is incredibile,” she said.
“I love how people will graffiti every other part of the building except this,” he said while he crossed his arms over his chest.
“People know it’s just too beautiful,” she explained while she kept looking at the wall. Colby tilted his head towards hers as his gaze lingered on her lips.
“It’s not the only beautiful thing in this room,” Colby said with his eyebrows raised. She rolled her eyes dramatically while she rested her hand on his chest.
“That was cheesy,” she muttered as Colby wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her towards him, dropping the flashlight in the process. She jumped up and leaned her body into his. “Baby, you can’t do that in a creepy, probably haunted abandoned building,” she quickly leaned down and picked up the flashflight. He laughed as he took a hold of the flashlight.
“I’m sorry, let’s take some photos. Get up a pose for me so I can take some beautiful photos of you,” he chuckled as he pulled away from her. She laughed as she dramatically stood in front of the mural. She started posing for Colby dramatically as he began to take hundreds of photos.

They both sat together with their legs dangled over the edge of the building. They stared towards the sky together admiring the deep blues and the full moon. Colby’s hand rested on her thigh. She reached down and interlocked her fingers with his. “Love,” she let out barely above a whisper. He looked towards her with his eyes matching the blues from the sky. Her lips curled upwards slightly when she met his eyes. Leaning over, she kissed him softly. He kissed her back.
“What was that for?” he let out, a smirk forming to his lips. She chuckled slightly as she raised her hand and rested it onto his cheek.
“I just can’t believe we’re together. After all these years, these last few months have been beyond amazing,” she let out, grazing her thumb across his cheek, “I love you,”
“I love you more,” he whispered as he leaned acrossed and kissed her. After a few moments she pulled away and shifted her gaze towards the sky. Colby started admiring the countless bright stars in the sky as he slowly ran his hand up and down her back.

She kissed him softly as she slowly traced her fingertips down his chest. Colby hummed while tilting his head back. She lowered her lips towards his neck, “I was supposed to film a video with Jake when he got home,” he whispered as he slowly tilted his head back down, to make eye contact with her. He smirked slightly. She pressed her lips against his again as he tightened his grip on her waist. “He’s going to be really mad with me,” he mumbled against her lips.
“This is more fun,” she whispered as she slowly grazed her lips against his jaw. He smiled while he slowly tightened his grip on her hip. He flipped her body down on her back as a gasp left her lips. A wide smile formed to her lips as she looked his body up and down. He leaned down and kissed her hard.
“Colby, man what the hell, we were suppos-oh my god, I’m so sorry!” Jake shouted as he entered Colby’s room. Colby’s head shot up and looked towards the door.
“How many times do I need to tell you to lock the door, Colby,” Y/N cried out. Jake stood in the doorway with his mouth agape. Colby fell to the side of the bed while pulling the blanket to cover Y/N and himself.
“When did-how did-I was barely gone a month-when did, I’m gonna, I gotta-” Jake sputtered as he shut the door behind him. Y/N covered her face with her hands as herself and Colby laid silently together. Colby pressed his lips together as he ran his fingers through his hair.
She sat up slightly holding the blanket to her chest as she raised her hand up and softly hit Colby in the chest. He groaned in pain as he furrowed his eyebrows. She swung her legs across the bed and reached down and quickly put on her pajamas. “Where are you going?” he groaned while sitting up. Jumping up she pulled her shorts on. Y/N walked towards the door while brushing her hair behind her ears. She turned back towards him.
“Come here,” she uttered while biting her lip suductively. Colby quickly stood up from the bed and put on his clothes. He walked towards the door with his face scrunched together. She leaned against the door while staring into his eyes. He slowly took a few steps towards her with a smile creeping on his face. “You see this,” she delicately tapped her fingertips against the doorknob. Colby shifted his gaze down. “Now, you see this little button,” she chuckled while raising her eyebrows, “You push it and then people can’t walk in on you having sex,” she teased while pulling the door open. Colby dramatically rolled his eyes as he watched her walk away from him.
“Ha, ha, very funny, Y/N,” Colby shouted while he walked out of his room towards the stairs. He chuckled to himself while he walked towards the living room where Jake was waiting with his camera all set up. “Hey dude, I’m sorry,” Colby let out once he walked towards the couch. Jake leaned against the couch with a wide smirk to his lips. Colby sat down beside him with a small laugh leaving his lips. “I didn’t realize you were home yet,” Colby said awkwardly.
“No, it’s cool, seriously, I mean-” Jake cut himself off as he raised his hand up for a high five. Colby rolled his eyes as he high fived Jake. “Seriously I had my suspicions but fucking finally!” Jake laughed while he stood up to adjust the camera to fit them both in the frame better.
“Yeah, it’s been a long time coming, I think. At least now we don’t have to figure out an elaborate way of telling you guys,” Colby shook his head while he pulled his phone from his pocket and pulled up his camera. He checked himself out in the camera, seeing if he looked decent enough to film.
“Why didn’t you guys just text the groupchat or something,” Jake offered as he sat back down, looking at the positioning.
“Because that’s boring,” Colby said simply while he looked at his lockscreen. It was a picture he took of them together, cuddling. His black eye is super apparent in the photo. It was the morning after they got together. He smiled to himself as he tossed his phone down beside him.
“It would have maybe given me an idea to knock before walking in on you two,” Jake shook his head while he stood back up with a loud huff leaving his lips.
“Yeah,” he said awkwardly, “I’m working on locking the door,” Colby nervously ran his fingers through his hair.

The next day it was the perfect day. The sun was shining brightly with little to no clouds. It was warm but not unbearable. It was the perfect day to go out and spend it together. In one of his favorite ways. Colby walked into Y/N’s room with a smile on his face. She returned the smile while standing up from her desk. “Hey,” she muttered.
“Knott’s Berry Farm, today? It’ll be a double date between us and Jake and Tara. It'll be super fun and they are open until super late tonight.” he offered while subconsciously resting his hands on her hips.
“Sure! Sounds like it’ll be fun,” she smiled towards him, “What time are we leaving?” she asked. He leaned down and quickly lifted her body to wrap her legs around himself. Suddenly her eyes widened as a mischievous smile formed to her lips.
“We’ve got time,” he whispered quickly before he pressed his lips against hers. She kissed him back softly as he walked them both towards the bed. He dropped her down and quickly jogged back towards the door, locking it. “I remembered, you see I’m getting better,” he teased while he pulled his shirt over his head.
“Good job, baby,” she whispered while she reached towards him resting her hands on the base of his neck and pulled him on top of her. She kissed him hard. He rested one hand on her hip and another holding himself up. His hand tugged on her shirt delicately, pulling it up. She broke the kiss to pull her top over her head. Colby began tracing wet kisses along her skin.
Suddenly there were three knocks on her door and Colby sat up and groaned. Y/N tilted her head back onto the pillow while pulling the blanket over her chest. Colby creaked open slightly while he looked into the hall to see Jake standing outside of the door. “Dude, seriously killing my game here,” Colby said while he glanced back towards the bed. Jake stood still laughing.
“I’m sorry,” he said through fits of laughter, “I was just going to talk to Y/N about-forget it,” he continued to laugh while he turned to walk back towards his own room. Colby leaned his head against the door. “You can go back to your ‘game’,” he teased. Colby shut the door and turned back towards Y/N.
“We can never get alone time in this damn house,” Colby said while walking towards the bed. Y/N laughed while she slowly sat up.
“I need to get ready,” she whispered while taking a hold of her shirt.
“No, stay,” he mumbled, while taking a hold of her hand.
“Come with me,” she whispered while slowly pulling towards her. He stood above her, looking down towards her. She leaned towards his ear, “In the shower,” she continued to walk towards her door with Colby in hand. He smiled widely as he raised his eyebrows.
Ok your Colby Brock fics are amazing. I will continue to read the imagines before the series tho. But they are great so far :) also I haven’t made a masterlist myself but a friend who did had to change all the links on their laptop once they changed the name, but this was more than a year ago so it may have changed.

It has been a few weeks since Colby and Y/N got together and life couldn’t be better. Sam and Katrina are still the only ones who know. Only because it has been easy to hide from Jake, Corey, and Devyn since they were all back in their hometowns for a while.
They have been sleeping in Y/N’s room because Colby’s room is the hottest room in the house. Colby likes to say it's the hottest room in the house because it’s his room. But Y/N doesn’t feed into his ego, that often.
Their relationship still had no label according to Y/N. Their relationship mostly consisted of flirting, sex, same old banter, dates, and more sex. They were enjoying having fun and simply exploring each other’s feelings. Yet Y/N wanted to be his girlfriend, she wanted the title and all the flirting and sex. She didn’t want to ask him to be his girlfriend, she wanted him to ask her.
The two laid out on the beanbags in the garage filming room, her legs sprailed out over his lap. His hands were slowly going up and down her leg, while he continued to edit a video on his laptop. She was doing the same for a video on her channel. They laid together in silence.
There have been times in their lives where they have been inseparable. Mostly when they were teenagers, a short period before she started dating Mike. Yet none of those times were like how they were now. Their bodies always had to be touching, whether that was a hand, or each other’s laps. It didn’t matter, their bodies always had to be in contact.
He leaned his head back against the yellow bean bag before tilting his gaze towards her. She lifted her gaze from her laptop, pulling her earbud from her ear. Her cheeks flushed when she met his bright eyes. “Corey, Devyn, and Jake are all coming home this weekend, are we going to tell them or let them figure it out?” he asked, shifting his gaze towards her thighs. He began to draw shapes against her skin. She licked her lips as she ran her fingers through her hair.
She raised her eyebrows while smirking, “Let them figure out what?” she questioned, her tone was laced with sarcasm. He rolled his eyes while he slowly started to smile.
“About us, Tink,” he chuckled while he shut his computer screen, silently praying the video’s progress was saved. She shook her head slightly while turning her nose upwards. His mouth dropped open, his tongue poking the side of his mouth while he stared towards her.
“What about us, Colby?” She placed her laptop to the side of her bean bag. She leaned her body against her elbows as she kept eye contact with him. He squeezed her thigh multiple times as he laughed nervously.
“That you are my gi-girlfriend,” he whispered, her eyes lit up as her smile widened. She pulled her legs from his lap. She moved to the edge of her bean bag, getting herself closer to him. She knew what he said and she heard the words from his lips but her heartbeat was all she understood.
“I’m going to need you to say that one more time, please,” she whispered. He rolled his eyes while he sat up, leaning his body towards her. He rested his hand behind her on the bean bag, leaning his face towards hers. He licked his lips while he lowered his gaze towards her lips. He tilted his head to whisper into her ear.
“That you are my girlfriend,” he let out barely above a whisper. His breath sent shivers down her spine as she watched him slowly look into her eyes.
“When did you decide I was your girlfriend?” she mumbled while she reached her hand up to rest it onto his cheek, moving her hand gently to the base of his neck. He shrugged while pressing his lips together.
“I can’t believe The Colby Brock is my boyfriend,” she teased, biting her bottom lip. He rolled his eyes dramatically while tilting his head back slightly.
“Shut it, you,” he whispered while he kissed her.

They laid facing each other sweaty and hearts still beating rapidly. His hair stuck to his forehead. Her hair tied back away from her face. He reaches across and cups her face in his hand while he runs his thumb across her cheek. “So beautiful,” he whispers as he inches closer to her face, bumping his nose with hers. Her lips turned upwards slightly. She raises her hand delicately to brush the small strands of hair away from his forehead. Her fingertips grazed his skin before she ran her fingers through his head slowly.
Her gaze meets his dilated blue ones. She watches them squint slightly as he smiles. “What’s going on up here?” she whispers as she softly taps the side of his head. A small chuckle leaves his lips.
“You know I haven’t told my mom about us yet, I don’t even know how,” his voice was breathy as he continued to run his thumb across her cheekbone.
“She would be happy we are together right?” she asked. His eyes widened as he nodded his head several times, “Then text her a photo of us and tell her we are dating, it shouldn’t be that serious.”
“Oh baby, it’s serious. She’s basically been planning our wedding with your mom since forever,” he chuckled. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly.
“I already told my mom a few days ago, what if she already knows?” she questioned. Colby’s eyes widened as he lifted his head from the bed. His phone starts ringing beside him as he jumps slightly. She sat up holding the blanket to her chest while Colby reached over and took a hold of his phone.
He holds the phone towards her to show that it was his mom calling to FaceTime. His eyes widened as he fixed his hair quickly. She stood up from the bed and scrambled to get her clothes on. “What are you doing?” he yelled through a whisper.
“I’m letting you deal with this alone,” she told him while she jumped into her shorts. She pulled her hair out of her hoodie as she walked out of Colby’s room. Once the door was shut he sighed as he answered the call. He forced a closed lip smile as his stomach started to ache.
“Hey mom,” he blinked rapidly. She stared towards the phone expectantly.
“How long have you and Y/N been dating?” she questioned while she raised her eyebrows. He opened his mouth to try to speak but he didn’t know what to say. “She’s basically been the love of your life and you can’t even tell your mother.”
He clenched his jaw while he ran his hand over his mouth, “I was going to tell you, but after we had been together for a little bit. I didn’t want to jinx anything if I told you and Dad.”
She softly smiled as she adjusted her glasses and looked towards her son through the phone. “There was nothing to jinx honey, you two were destined to be together.” Colby stayed silent on his end of the phone as he tried to process the words his mother said. Destined to be together.
The conversation continued for a few minutes while Colby vaguely explained what happened between him and Y/N. Keeping many important details out because his mother didn’t need to hear those parts. He ended the call and tossed his phone down on the bed as he walked towards the door. He walked down the hall towards Y/N’s room, glancing towards the bottom floor of the house.
Sam and Kat’s voices were ringing throughout the house, he nodded to himself before he stopped at her door. He raised his hand and knocked. She called for him to come inside. She was sitting at her desk scrolling through twitter. “Hey beautiful,” he let out while he shut the door and locked it. She turned her head towards him smiling.
“Hey handsome,” she whispered as she stood up from the chair, “what did your mom say?” His eyes widened while he chuckled. His head dropped as he explained what she said. During the conversation they moved towards the bed and they were sitting beside each other.
“Now we're like the real deal, my parents approve and everything,” he teases.
“Oh thank god,” she shoots back while she slowly climbs on top of him, straddling him. She rests her hands on the base of his neck as he rests his hands onto her hips, tightening his grip. Leaning down she pressed her lips against his softly.
I changed my username about 7 months ago? And - for mobile users - I had to change the links and anyone not using the app. But other than that it was fine. Change it maybe and get a few close followers to see if they can access it on mobile, online, and on the app (laptop etc too obviously) and if something doesn’t work you may need to edit things.

She had been editing her video for a few hours already when Katrina walked into her room. Y/N lifted her gaze towards the blonde girl with the widest, brightest smile. Y/N’s lips started to curl upward as she pulled the headphones from her head. “I didn’t know you were coming over,” Y/N whispered while she leaned back into her chair.
“You wanna tell me something?” she asked while hopping slightly. Y/N shook her head, slightly confused. “About a certain someone?” she elaborated. Y/N’s smile widened as she shut her eyes.
“Yeah, uh, there’s not much to tell yet,” She down played it. Katrina rolled her eyes dramatically as she fell down onto Y/N’s bed.
“Sam begs to differ.”
“Sam called me a rebound so I don’t wanna hear what he ‘begs to differ’,” Y/N explained the whole minor situation that had happened earlier that day. Katrina agreed that the way they were joking was not okay, and that she planned on scolding Sam later. “I am being so dramatic but it made me feel like the things Colby said was just a way to get into my pants,”
“No, you’re definitely not being dramatic, I would totally think the same thing,” she sighed, “You have to tell him that is how it made you feel.”
“I will when he gets home for sure,” she smiled as she rested her head onto a pillow. Her eyes widened as her cheeks flushed. “Guess what he did, too!?” she smiled widely. Katrina hummed encouragingly.

Sam was dramatically pacing the apartment making sure every inch of the place was clean for Katrina when she came over. This was the first time she would be spending the night and Sam wanted her to be impressed. Colby and Y/N were sitting on the couch watching Chopped.
“Dude, you act like she hasn’t seen the apartment before,” Colby commented while he rested his hand onto the top of the couch. Y/N glanced towards his hand while she quickly shifted her gaze back towards the screen.
“I’m excited to finally meet her, maybe I’ll finally get a friend that isn’t a dude,” Y/N chuckled. Sam hummed while he wiped the kitchen counter for a fourth time. “Sam, she’s not going to judge you on how clean our counter is.”
“I just want her to be comfortable, okay,” he let out frustratingly. Colby and Y/N looked towards each other, while they both simultaneously stood up.
“What can we do to help?” Y/N asked as the doorbell rang. Sam took in a long deep breath before he started walking towards the door.
“Don’t be weird, Y/N.” Sam said before he reached to open the door.
“Why did he say that to me?” Y/N whispered as she leaned her body against the back of the couch. “You’re weird too, what do I do that he had to call me out for-”
“I don’t know, just shhh,” he whispered, trying to hear Sam and Katrina’s conversation. She lightly punched him against the arm as she scowled. “Ow,” he mumbled.
“Shhh, that didn’t even hurt,”
“You have rings on,” he mumbled again while running his hand against the spot.
“I’ll do it again,” she raised her hand up to punch him in the arm. He quickly took a hold of her fist. Tightening his grip against her hand. She shifted her gaze towards him. He held a wide smile to his lips.
“You can’t,” he smirked while dropping their hands to their side. She rolled her eyes playfully as she waited for Sam to introduce her to Katrina. This was the first girl Sam had been crazy about since his ex-girlfriend cheated on him.
“What if she doesn’t like me?” Y/N asked once she saw Katrina with Sam.
“She will, she’s super nice and weird like you,” Colby comforted while he tilted his gaze towards hers, smirking. Y/N smiled while rolling her eyes. Yet she was feeling reassured as she switched her gaze to Sam and Katrina walking towards them.
“Y/N, this is Katrina,” Sam said while he rested his hand onto her back.
“Hey, I’m so excited to finally meet you! Sam talked so much about you,” Y/N said while leaning in for a hug, Katrina returned the gesture, “You are literally the best thing to happen to him in a long time,” Y/N whispered as they hugged. Katrina pulled away with a broad smile to her face as her eyes squinted slightly.
“Really?” she whispered, Y/N nodded dramatically. “That’s so sweet,” she looked towards Sam who’s face was scrunched together.
“What’d she say?” Sam asked, shifting his gaze towards Y/N.
“Nothing serious, Babe,” Katrina winked towards Y/N while she leaned her body against Sam. “So tell me about you guys, how long have you guys been together?” Katrina asked. Colby and Y/N eyes widened as they dramatically took a step apart.
“We aren’t together, we’re just friends,” Y/N while avoiding Colby’s gaze.
“Yeah, we’re just friends,” Colby repeated.

“In front of Sam?!” Katrina asked excitedly.
Y/N fell dramatically on her back while she rested her hands onto her forehead, “In. Front. Of. Sam! Like one second he was scared to tell him and then all of a sudden he’s pulling me into an amazing kiss,” she sighed pleasantly, “I mean I was still upset with him but then he was kissing me and suddenly I couldn’t even be mad at him anymore.”
“Men do that, they make you mad at them then they have the audacity to flirt and kiss you. It’s really rude of them,” Katrina teased.
“It really is. It’s like they want us to forget what we are thinking,” she joined. They laughed. “Did you always think Colby and I were going to get together?”
Katrina rolled her eyes while laughing, “When Sam told me one of his best friends was a girl, I was worried you were in love with him,” Y/N faked gagged, while Katrina rolled her eyes, “Mainly because I dealt with the girl best friend before, it didn’t end well. In Sam’s words, ‘Don’t worry about her, she’s in love with Colby and he’s in love with her’.”
“He did not tell you that!” Y/N asked with her jaw dropped. Katrina nodded her head while fighting a smile, “Is that why when we first met you thought we were together?” Y/N asked while Katrina nodded.
Several knocks hit against her door, sounding like multiple hands. “Come in.”
Sam and Colby both wait at the door, smiling. “I come to steal my beautiful girlfriend,” Sam walked into the room holding out his hand towards Katrina. She giggled while taking a hold of his hand. As Katrina leaves the room, holding Sam’s hand, Sam nudges Colby into the room while shutting the door behind them. Colby awkwardly laughed as he shifted his weight while he nervously stood still.
“I’m sorry about earlier, I was going to tell him it was you but I was nervous and then he said the thing and you were there. It was totally not how I imagined Sam finding out or the morning after we um, yeah,” he spoke quickly, taking in a deep breath.
She smiled towards him as she moved towards the edge of the bed. “It’s okay Colby, I know you guys didn’t mean anything by it. I just-the way it sounded made me feel like you said all of this ‘I’m in love with you’ stuff to have sex with me, which I know you didn’t but that’s what it felt like-”
Colby walked over and took a hold of her arm, lifting her up towards him. He rested his hands onto her lower back, pulling her body towards him. Their faces are inches apart.
“I never want you to think that. I’m so sorry Sam and I gave you that impression. I want you to know that I meant every single word I said to you, when I told you I was madly in love with you I meant. I mean I am so madly in love with everything little part of you. Tink, you are literally everything that I have ever wanted for years, Y/N. I don’t want you to ever think otherwise, okay?” he stared into her eyes with admiration. He finally was able to hold her in his arms and finally tell her his feelings.
“Okay,” she whispered, before pressing her lips against his. She reached up wrapping her hands around his neck pulling his head towards hers. His hands excitedly lowered on her body allowing her to jump and wrap her legs around his waist.
He hissed once her legs wrapped around his waist. She pulled her lips away, “What’s wrong?” she muttered, catching her breath. Her fingers twisted the small ends of his hair at the base of his neck. He grips her thighs tighter.
“I’m okay, just sore from yesterday from when I got hit,” he licked his lips, lowering his gaze towards her lips. She was still hesitant as he desperately leaned towards her, needing her lips against his again. “I’m okay, Tink, please kiss me,” he muttered so desperately. Her lips curled up slightly as she stared into his blue dilated eyes. She delicately brushed her lips against his.
“Did you know Sam told Kat that we were in love with each other like three years ago, like right when they started dating?” she spoke barely above a whisper. She wanted him to wait before she actually kissed him.
“He obviously already knew, we are his best friends. He probably could see it before we could,” he nodded, he kept his gaze down onto her lips, “Please, can you kiss me now?” he begged. She smirked while she slowly leaned down and kissed him. Building the kiss and tension between them.
He laid her body down onto the bed without breaking the kiss. His hands fiddled with the band of her sweatpants. He slowly lowered his lips to her neck, “Colby,” she whispered. He hummed against her skin. She pressed her lips together as her back arched, “Go lock the door,”
“No ones going to walk in,” he said, and she rolled her eyes. Knowing his past history with sex and unlocked doors, she wanted percaution.
“You have too much trust in our roommates, go lock the door.”

Her fingertips grazed over his chest, creating goosebumps to rise on his skin. His head leaned against hers, pressing his lips against her hair. “Are you okay?” he mumbled against her hair as he slowly ran his hand along her arm. She hummed, the lack of words leaving her lips worried him but he didn’t say anything else. Simply enjoying the moment.
She lifted her head slightly looking down towards his bruised and redden face. She lifted her hand and ran her fingers delicately over the marks on his face. He flinched slightly when she touched the bruise along his right eye. “I’m sorry,” she whispered as she pulled her hand away.
“It’s okay,” he whispered while he brushed a few pieces of her hair away from her face. She smiled as she leaned down and rested her head onto his chest again. Running her fingers along his skin again.
Colby’s phone buzzed on the side table several times. He rolled his eyes, a huff leaving his pinked lips. He reached for it seeing Sam FaceTiming him. He dismissed the call with a text asking what he needed.
“Who was that?” she asked, her voice hoarse. She lifted her head slightly, shifting her gaze towards the phone, not paying attention to the screen.
He cleared his throat, “It was Sam, but we aren’t supposed to leave for a few hours for the video.” His phone buzzed again with a response from Sam. He groaned as he pulled his arm away from her body, slowly sitting up. She lifted her head from his chest, pulling the blanket to her chest. “He wants to leave earlier to beat rush hour, he’s not even going to drive,” he shook his head as he typed a reply before placing it down on the side table. “I’m sorry.”
“No it’s okay, it’s your job, I get it,” she chuckled slightly, running her fingers through her hair. Her eyes looked over the room seeing her clothes on the ground. She quickly reaches down and picks them up. She silently starts putting on the clothes, while standing up from the bed. “We can talk about this later, okay?” she whispered as she started walking towards the door. Colby stared blankly towards her as she continued walking towards the door. He nodded his head while touching his bruised eye. The other eye was not as bad as the right eye.
She pulled the door open and walked out. She stopped just outside the door with her hand still holding the doorknob. Her eyes stared towards the floor, as her heart began to race quickly. She took in a deep breath before she turned and pulled the door open. She walked back into the room seeing Colby still sitting on the bed. His head lifted up meeting her gaze with his eyebrows furrowed. She walked towards him, maintaining eye contact with him.
She leaned down, wrapping her hand at the base of his neck while pulling him into a kiss. His eyes were open briefly before he shut them as the kiss deepened. His body straightened as he reached for her waist. She climbed her body on top of his, straddling him. His hands rested on her lower back. She hummed against his lips as she slowly pulled away, “Where are you going?” he whispered while his gaze lingered on her lips.
“You’ve got to get going soon,” she whispered as she grazed her fingers slowly from his neck to his cheek. She leaned down and kissed him gently for a few seconds. She pulled away, opening her eyes to see a small smile on his lips. He slowly opened his eyes as she stood up from his lap. He leaned his body back onto his hands as he watched her walk away from him.
She left the room with a smile on her face. She glanced down the hall to see if anyone was there. She didn’t want to explain anything to anyone. She jogged down the hall to her room and sighed once the door was closed.

Colby walked downstairs shoving his phone in his back pocket. He cleared his throat as he walked towards the kitchen. Sam was leaning against the counter while chugging a bottle of water. Sam tossed the bottle into the garbage while glancing towards Colby. “Dude, you need to cover that up,” he said pointing to the bruises on his face.
Colby stops dead in his tracks as he reaches his hand up towards his face, “It’ll be fine, I’ll just make a bullshit excuse or something,” he explained with a small chuckle leaving his lips. Sam shrugged while he picked up the camera bag and rested it onto the counter.
“Maybe just wear sunglasses the whole time,” Sam offered while counting the extra camera batteries. The amount of times they’ve traveled with low battery on their cameras was insane.
“I could do that,” Colby licked his lips as he tugged his shirt down slightly, revealing his collarbones. Sam shifted his gaze, letting out a stifle laugh as he stared towards the hickeys that covered his collarbones.
“Who gave you those,” Sam asked while he put the cameras and the batteries into the bag. Colby’s eyes dropped towards his body and noticed the red marks, he tightened his jaw as his cheeks flushed red. “If you say Olivia, I’m going to punch you in the throat.”
Colby chuckled as he said, “I thought this shirt covered them, fuck,” he ran his fingers through his hair nervously, “and I am not going to say,” he turned around, ready to run up the stairs when he saw Y/N hop of the last stair. His eyes widened as he clasped his hands together. He looked her body up and down while licking his lips.
Her lips curled into a smile as she walked past Colby, his cheeks flushing redder as he saw the red marks on her neck. She didn’t even try to cover them up, she was still in her pjamas, barely dressed for the day. He never liked hickeys, until last night. He couldn’t get enough of her. His eyes widened as realization hit him, he took a small step wanting to reach out and grab her but she was already too far into the kitchen. “Fuck,” he mumbled.
“Oh come on, bro, who was the rebound?” Sam joked as he turned to look at Colby only to see Y/N walk past him. The small smile on her lips faded as she looked towards Sam. Clenching her jaw she glanced towards Colby. Colby and Y/N stared towards each other nervously. Sam’s face dropped as his eyes landed on the hickeys on her neck. “Oh shit,” he mumbled. “You two?” he nervously pointed towards them.
Y/N watched as Colby’s mouth opened and shut several times, his mind searching for some form of explanation. It was just a joke, but he could tell she was hurt even by the idea of just being a rebound. Her eyes glossed over as she walked towards Colby, she looked into his eyes, “A rebound? Really?” she mumbled.
“No, absolutely not, Sam was just making a joke about the hickeys,” Colby explained, while he rested his hand onto her hip. She glanced towards his hand, pulling her body towards him slowly. Her heartbeat quickened at his touch.
“I was! It was a joke, a bad one, I’m sorry,” Sam explained while his eyes went wide. “I’m so sorry that I offended you,” he continued.
Y/N rolls her eyes as she looks back towards Colby, “It’s fine, Sam, I’m not upset with you,” she walked past Colby towards the fridge. Colby’s eyes squinted as his lips pursed forward. “I just didn’t think you two still talked about girls like that. You’re not teenagers,” she sighed while she took a water bottle from the fridge.
Guilty, Sam and Colby both share nervous glances. Colby rubs the back of his neck nervously. “I’m sorry, Y/N,” Colby mumbled as she walked towards him. “Can we talk more later?” he whispered while he absentmindedly rested his hand onto her waist. Her eyes looked down towards his hand, her heartbeat quickening. She looked up back towards him with a tilted smile to her lips.
“Sure,” she started to walk away from him when he pulled her body back towards him as he leaned down and kissed her. She hesitantly kissed him back.
Sam nervously cleared his throat as he kept his gaze towards his phone, Y/N pulled away and walked towards the stairs saying, “Have a safe trip!” Colby bit his bottom lip as he watched her run up the stairs, an uncontrollable smile formed to his lips as he shifted his gaze towards Sam.
Colby’s cheeks started to flush red. “Finally bro,” Sam chuckled as he wrapped the camera bag over his shoulder. Colby nodded as he reached for his equipment bag and keys. “You’re blushing, dude,” Sam pointed.
