Witchy Movie Mood

Movie Mood: This is one of my favorite movies, and I was so sad that it didn’t get the props it deserved, however I haven’t read the books so it may be that it didn’t represent the series as well as fans hoped. If you haven’t read the books and can take this movie as it is, it really is a gem. It’s a different kind of witch movie, they even refer to themselves as Casters and insinuate that the term ‘witch’ is really just a label. Lena Duchannes is a 'Natural’ who, like all female Casters, will be claimed by either the light or the dark on her sixteenth birthday; her true nature will decide. Lena struggles with the fear of turning, as well as a curse upon the mortal she loves. Lena’s character is strong and showcases a witch struggling with her two natures; light and dark, as so many witches do. Luckily, we are seeing more representations of these women and men embracing both with respect and dignity without any of it having to be a matter of good and evil, but instead showing us the peace that is balance and knowing your true self. 
Majick: Storm Water Spell to Remove Curse and 'Return to Sender’ Beautiful Creatures has a lot of storm and lightning imagery. Lena is very powerful and able to control the elements (and even the moon). In fact, when Lena first moves to Ravenwood the town becomes terrified night after night as lightning continuously strikes the same spot on Honey Hill over and over again. The movie also deals with curses and dark magick, and while there is definitely a correct and incorrect way to practice magick, sometimes it takes the dark to see the light. Don’t be afraid of dark magick so much as a dark intentions. Storm water is water charged by lightning, the best way to get this is by collecting rain during a storm. 
You will need: 1 white candle 1 black candle 1 Magick Mirror (a mirror you have enchanted or have a connection with) Storm Water (4 splashes) 
Go to your magick mirror holding the white candle in your dominant hand and the black candle in your nondominant hand, place these candles on each side of the mirror, so if the white candle is in your right hand it will go on the right side of the mirror, and so on. Splash the surface of the mirror with the storm water four times, for each splash you will say one of the 4 elements until you have said them all (e.g. Splash 1: Earth, Splash 2: Air…). Now hold your dominant hand up to the mirror, not touching the mirror but palm facing the mirror (this hand is your receiving hand), imagine the person in question, or if you’re not sure who it is imagine their energy (most curses have a signature, if you can find it imagine that energy), visualize what has occurred, and pinpoint the words that represent how it has felt, hold onto this and then literally act as if you’re grabbing it with your dominant hand. Slowly bring the dominant hand towards you, palm still facing mirror. Lift the nondominant hand, and with this hand slowly grasp the curse you have taken control of out of the dominant hand. As you hold the curse in your nondominant hand, say the word 'neutralize’ to your dominant hand and imagine a white light forming around it. You can drop this hand. Slowly turn your nondominant hand towards your magick mirror and open the hand. Imagine the curse hitting the storm water, as the water ignites with tiny bolts of lightning. take all that you have just visualized of the curse and let it leave you. Keeping the nondominant palm facing the mirror, say the following: Check the offense and balance the render Play the player and bend the bender Truth will prevail now the spent is the spender Return this curse back to its sender 
Your dominant hand is the receiving hand, the other is the giving/sending hand, for this spell. The mirror acts as a way of reversing as anything reflected in a mirror appears reversed. The storm water represents both the dark and the light, as storms can be treacherous but they are powerful and serve a great purpose for the good of All. The lightning is energy to propel the spell at the speed of light as well as supportive in time travel magick, or “turning back time”. Do this during a dark moon. 🌚✨ ~Kristina RooVane, Author

⚡️Happy Thursday! ✨ Today is ruled by the planet Jupiter. Jupiter energy supports luck, especially in business and legal matters, but also friendship. In 1979 Laurie Cabot’s coven was featured in National Geographic. To prepare for the interview, the Cabot Witches called on the energy of Jupiter to surround them. When the images were developed no one could quite explain the purple lightning bolt anomaly surrounding the coven in the photo. After the coven explained that it was light energy of Jupiter, the magazine decided to use the photo. Thank you beautiful Jupiter! ✨💖🔮⚡️
