Money spell tips ~
These are things that I've started doing that have worked for me.
$ I know we all know that green = money. However, why not give that green candle some back up by using supporting colours.
* My favourites: gold for wealth and prosperity, brown to inspire financial stability, orange for good fortune and success
$ On the topic of candles, carve a sigil into the candle before burning it! It can be whatever you want. I honestly I usually just do something super basic incorporating the amount of money that I'm looking to get.
$ BE SPECIFIC AND CLOSE LOOPHOLES. Check out the linked posts, seriously! They are very informative and stuff I wished I learned long ago. Specify the amount you need, when you need it, if you're looking for extra cash, wanting to win money you entered in, etc. Whatever it may be - be specific. Tell the universe (or whoever/whatever you work with) what you need!
$ Do your spell with your purse/wallet/debit card, etc on or around your work space! I almost always use candles for my spell, so I will leave my wallet with the candle while it finishes burning. Really emphasize where you need this money to go - to you, in your wallet!
$ If you created a sigil, also put this sigil in your wallet or purse. If you are making a spell jar, put the sigil into your spell jar or on it. I usually just write on the jar itself, but you can do whatever you want.
$ Add money to your spell jar if you're making one. It doesn't have to be much, I usually just throw in some pocket change. To emphasize that you want to see your money grow!
$ Also, don't be afraid to get creative with charging your sigils. I use the pocket change I put in my spell jar to charge it while I work on everything else. I simply draw out all the sigils I'll be using on some paper and place coins on top of them. Do this with intention.
$ If you make a spell jar, keep it with your wallet or keep it in your purse. When I am done the spell and the candles are burned down - I immediately transfer it to my purse and carry it with my everywhere until it's done. It's going to attract wealth to my purse.
$ Don't forget to cleanse your tools. Including all the stuff you use for the spell. If you use a jar, cleanse the jar inside and out and the lid.
$ Boost your money spell by doing it on a Thursday!
Best of luck out there, hope you all have enough money for everything you need, plus extra for some self care!
âTime passes quickly for meâ
I made this sigil one day at work, when time seemed to be passing so slowly, and I was amazed at how well it ended up working.
This sigil does not literally speed up time;Â it merely changes your perception of the passing of time.
I drew this on a piece of paper, folded it up, and held it in my projective hand (for me, this is my dominant hand). I cleared my mind as best I could while at work, focusing solely on my intent. I began to rub the sigil with my thumb, channelling my energies into the sigil while also generating a heat charge with the friction. I continued until my thumb started to hurt, then I ripped the piece of paper to release the sigilâs charge, and threw the remains into the garbage.
Feel free to charge however you best see fit.
Note: looking at any clocks will hinder this sigilâs success.

(Feel free to use, though I would recommend charging it yourself!)
âMy body is perfectâ
 Requested by @opalinewitchery
(Again Just a disclaimer: this is for the mentality of accepting your body and/or helping you with your endeavors to reach the point in which you accept it.)
Four Practices ov Visualization
Training in magick often includes building up skills ov visualization. One may visualize something moving or stationary. A physical manifest object or an abstract geometric figure etc, but it often omits the most basic orientation to the practice: Where is it?
There are four ways of visualizing, what you are visualizing is located somewhere in physical space, somewhere on or relative to your body, on your field of vision, or nowhere.
The skill of visualizing in physical space is crucial for many rituals. Whether casting a circle, manifesting a thoughtform, etc. You want to practice firmly holding the visualization of something located around you. As you practice you should be able to move around the thing you are visualizing and see it from different perspectives.
Visualizing relative to the body is related to visualizing relative to physical space, but is different in the way you hold it. The brain maintains a separate map of the body in space from the map of space around you. This is practiced by visualizing things in, on, or around your body.
Visualizing a symbol on your field of vision is best for geometric or other abstract patterns, such as sigils. These need not be anywhere relative to you or of any definite size other than a sense of the position in your visual field.
Finally, you should practice visualization where it bears no relation to physical space. This will feel 3rd person, like looking at a picture or watching o movie. This should feel different from an overlay of imagined space over the space around you. When practicing 3rd person visualization, watch for a subtle feeling of a location around your person that is acting as a gateway to this space.
Chaos Magick - Foundation
Chaos magick is at its core a practice, it is about doing. What we do with chaos magick is both outward practice and inward practice. The inward process is primarily about manipulating belief, paradigm shifting. This means striving to not hold to beliefs except as it serves the work at hand and to be ready to switch beliefs as needed.
The word belief should be understood as holding attachment to a way of thinking, a way of modeling the world in the mind. We choose a way of thinking and stick with it for a time, but also ready to let it go just as easily and grab onto the next.
So what, fundamentally, does one who practices chaos magick believe?
Chaos Magick Lite
The easily digestible spin on the practice of chaos magick is that we believe fundamentally that we donât know how magick works, but that it works. Somehow, through the subconscious mind, we are able to manifest results. The whole belief/non-belief business is just about tricking the subconscious into being open to suggestion to connect to the source from which magick can happen.
This interpretation is compatible with a variety of other belief systems. One can, for example, hold to the notion of a divine creator and that chaos magick practice, through the subconscious, connects one to the creator. The divine cannot be understood by the rational mind, so we have to put on paradigms as filters to do the best we can with our limited minds.
This interpretation is also compatible with materialistic interpretatons of the world. Perhaps chaos magick is just all psychology and the practice manipulates the perception and and memory and that is enough.
Chaos Magick Heavy
The heavy interpretation of chaos magick is that there literally is no truth. There is nothing fundamentally real. The act of paradigm shifting is directly manipulating reality itself, at least as good as it gets. Beyond the shape imposed by the mind on experience there is⌠nothing, chaos, the void of non-being.
In the depths of this interpretation it is not just that reality cannot be understood, it literally does not exist. We approach the pit of solipsism and dive in. Am I all that is real? Deeper than this we realize even the self is not real. As the saying goes, âNothing is true, everything is permitted.â
What is the Aim?
These differences in approach lead to different aims of the magick. If one takes the lite approach, it is sufficient to merely practice technique and get results. If we take the heavy interpretation, then we push towards the void of reality itself and root our magick in non-being. No-truth is not mere lack of understanding, but the end we pursue.
A Simple Sigil How-To
Hello witchy friends!
Today I just want to make a quick run through of how I create sigils. This is the area of magick I feel the most experienced in. If youâre new they are a great place to start because all you need is pen and paper (or a drawing app on your phone/computer!)
What is a sigil?
A sigil is a unique symbol that holds the power of a specific intention
There are many ways to create them, the possibilities are nearly endless
Sigils can be cast one time, or be used frequently depending on how you are using it
I recommend creating your own whenever possible so that the meaning is strong and personal to you, but of course you can use sigils that others have created with the same effectiveness!
How do I use a sigil?
Sigils can be used as part of a spell or ritual, they can be placed on your altar to protect it or give power to your magic, they can be written on walls to protect your home, you can write them on mugs, put them in your shoes⌠and so much more!
Sigils can be use to achieve all kinds of results, success, love (donât do the bad kind of love spell), vivid dreams, luck, health, protection, power, basically anything!
Are sigils safe?
The process of making and casting sigils is very safe. If you do not work with spirits and do not invite them to help, creating sigils will not bring in anything scary or unwanted (you can make sigils to keep out spirits or other dangers!)
As with all kinds of magick, you have to be careful what you wish for! I have a personal anecdote for this, several years ago I made a weight loss sigil and didnât specify that I would like to lose weight in a healthy way, and shortly after I became the sickest I had ever been, and did lose a lot of weight. (side note: your body is beautiful and does not need to change or be smaller! I was not in a happy place when I tried that sigil.) Basically, be careful and specific and you will be just fine!
How do I make a sigil?
All witches have unique practices, and I encourage you to research every technique! Do what resonates with you, this is just one of many methods which I use and I find nice for beginners. You can always try multiple methods and switch things up as needed.
Think of your intention and word in in the most direct way possible
Do not include confusing double negatives (avoid negative speech in general i.e. phrase as âI willâ instead of âI will notâ)
As I mentioned above, try not to leave any loopholes that could bring negative results (I heard someone did a money spell, and then crashed their car and received insurance money)
Donât use unsure language like âI wishâ or âI hope.â Use affirming language like âI canâ and âI will.â
Write it out in capital letters and start to break it down
After writing it, write out all the consonants that appear in the sentence
Write down each consonant only once
I remove vowels for the sake of simplicity, you do not have to do this! You can leave them in if that feels right
Draw out the main structural lines and shaped of each letter
You can see this step in my reference image, basically you look at a letter and see what lines and shapes make it up
T is a horizontal and a vertical line, or a âplusâ or cross shape. R is a vertical line, a curve, and a diagonal line.. and so forth
Now the sigil creation begins!
Using the shapes and lines you got from the letters, start to draw a symbol
Try as many configurations and you need until you get something that feels right
You may want to include other symbols or meanings that you associate with your intention such as, up and down arrows, clockwise and counterclockwise circles, elemental symbols, pentagrams, runes, anything that feels right!
You can also add decorative details to your sigil, or keep it plain. There is no single correct way for a sigil to look!
Charge the sigil to cast it
There are tons of ways to charge a sigil and the way that you choose will be specific to you and your intentions!
Methods include burning the sigil, using energy work to push energy into it, meditation on it, dancing, and even sexual climax (yes really). Some sigils may be charged simply by the act of drawing them, do what feels right!
Hereâs my process for creating the sigil âMy spells are powerful.â

Chaos Magick Reading List. The Collection Grows (+).
The Magical Revival By: Kenneth Grant Hecateâs Fountain By: Kenneth Grant Outer Gateways By: Kenneth Grant Beyond The Mauve Zone By: Kenneth Grant The Ninth Arch By: Kenneth Grant
Given the state of the global economy, having enough money on hand for the essentials of life is likely to be a true struggle for millions of people. Itâs a stressful reality, impacting even the hardest working among us. Thereâs nothing immoral or selfish about wanting to have enough money to live your life. The purpose of a sigil, after all, is to turn an abstract or unspoken desire into something more tangible. It doesnât matter if weâre talking about private-island money, or pay-the-rent money. Ultimately, itâs speaking to that deep, essential need for the security that money provides.
Hereâs a sigil for money that flows right to you. Use it well.
New sigil: âProsperity in love, health, and money.â
Most people have simple desires. They want to love and be loved. They want to wake up feeling alive, without being dragged down by the pain and fear of failing health. And they want to be free of the aching worry of not having enough money to cover their needs. Thatâs not a lot to ask from life.
These three desires make up the vast majority of the requests SigilDaily receives, so weâve created a simple sigil that speaks to all of them at once.
Letâs Debunk The âRulesâ Of Sigil Magick
Iâve heard that sigils must always be written in the present tense, canât contain negative statements, and must follow a bunch of other rules to work. Is that true?
Thereâs no easy way to say this: Occultists in the turn of the 20th century had some pretty strange ideas. If you read their thoughts on sigil magick (and ritual magick in general), itâs clear that a lot of what they were saying didnât come from arcane tomes or thousand-year traditions, but rather from the âtheories of the mindâ that were popular in the mid-to-late 1800s. By using the language of people like Freud and Jung, they were able to cloak their speculation in something that almost sounded scientific. We see the exact same thing today when people talk about âquantum healingâ and âholographic patterning therapy.â It sounds like it might be based on something real, but if you dig beneath the surface, the evidence behind it is pretty flimsy.
You also have to remember that those ârulesâ were an attempt to bring together a bunch of completely unrelated occult ideas â neopaganism, educated guesses about ancient Egyptian rites, total misreadings of traditional Taoist and Buddhist practices, speculation from the Catholic Church about what Satanism probably would be like if there had been any actual Satanists at the time, Greek theories about math and astrology, poorly understood ethnic traditions and folk magick â into something like a formal dogma. In the process, they stumbled across some powerful tools, but they also bent those practices to suit their biases, needs, and existing beliefs. At the time, the early versions of psychiatry claimed that negative thoughts were a root cause of mental illness â right up there with the Oedipus Complex and bad potty training â rather than the far more complex reality we see it as today. That thinking filtered into occult theorycraft, but it doesnât make it true.
Today, a lot of the assertions from the Victorian era of occult practice can seem pretty silly, and thatâs equally true when it comes to things like sigils. If sigil magick is about focusing intent, investing an idea with belief, and trying to use art to bring about change in our lives and the world around us, why would that powerful tool crumble under what amounts to a quirk of the English language?
Itâs perfectly valid to desire that a given outcome doesnât happen, for example. Yes, you should always focus your intent and create the clearest possible statement of that intent in creating a sigil. Often, that means focusing on the result you do want, rather than the one you donât. At the same time, our language is pretty heavily reliant on using ânegativeâ words to communicate basic concepts. Thereâs only so many ways to say âI will not harm myself today,â for instance. Sure, you can play some word games to make that into a âpositiveâ statement, but it also changes the fundamental intent of the statement. If youâre going to claim that those ânegativeâ words and prefixes â un-, non-, not, never, donât, canât, wonât â have an inherently diminishing effect, youâd better have more than the guesswork of some Victorian weirdo to back it up.
This is completely testable. Try it for yourself. Create two sigils, each expressing a unique desire. Make them equally inconsequential things, unlikely but certainly possible. Write one in a âpositiveâ way, and the other in a ânegativeâ way. Activate both. Track your results. Report back with your findings.
That said, if you want to follow those ârulesâ just to be on the safe side, go for it. Follow your practice. But do try to understand where those ârulesâ come from, and treat them with the same skepticism you would have for anything an old, rich white guy playing the Master of the Occult said today.
