Everyone in the comments rushing to defend this term saying femmephobia is only describing how feminine things are seen as lesser than masculine.

The society wide belief that men are seen as superior to women is misogyny NOT femmephobia. Traits associated with men (aka masculinity) are only seen as superior when they are performed by men. The word you are looking for is misogyny. Butch lesbians and other gnc women have no “masculine privilege”. That does not exist.

Listen, I know Liberal White Feminism™ has made you feel that wearing lipstick and a dress is what makes you oppressed (and also apparently what sets you free) but that’s not true. Femmephobia is not real, misogyny is.
